The more traffic you can attract to your site the better your online business will do, and the greater your profit will be. By publishing your articles in various article directories where people go to find articles for content for their blogs or websites, you can generate a huge amount of traffic with the links to your own website which you are able to place in the resource box.

The resource box is the bit at the end of your article that the readers can access to find out some information about the author and this is where you are allowed to place a link back to your own website. Your articles will be found by all the search engines and will be spread even wider on the internet by other people who find them when looking for content, this all leads to more traffic for you.

3. Your website will be ranked when the search engines pick up your articles and once they are indexed people will find your site when looking for information. This is another opportunity for you to attract more traffic to your website and increase the possibility of making a sale.

4. By writing your own articles with information that is connected to your niche, you will become known as an expert in that field and you will be branding yourself at the same time. The reason that this is important is that the better you are known, the more people will feel that they know and can trust you, and people are always more willing to purchase things from someone they feel they can trust.

5. If you for any reason doubt the benefits your internet based business can derive and the traffic you can generate from writing your own articles then think carefully about this.
