If you have a limited budget to use for your internet based home business, then blogging is a great way to make money. There are many very successful bloggers who earn a really good income using this method alone.

Most people do not understand how it is possible to make money with a blog, but it is really not that difficult to do and it can be done pretty much for free or just a small amount of money.

The most important skill for anyone who wishes to make use of this way of making money is to be able or write and post to their blog a minimum of 3-4 times per week, especially when first starting out. Three to four posts a week might not seem like very much when first starting out, but it can become tedious and sometimes even downright difficult not only to write the posts but to think of topics to write about and it can wear even the most enthusiastic writers down after a while.

The internet is a hard taskmaster and taking time off for more than a day or two can set you back very quickly so it is essential to be consistent, at least until you have built up a large following, and then it is possible to take a break occasionally. When you do feel overwhelmed though, think about how good it feels to be making money this way, working from home without a boss to dictate how and when you work.

So how do you monetize your blog?

This is easily done by joining a few affiliate programs that are related to the niche on which your blog is based and then advertising these affiliate products on your blog. As an affiliate marketer you are given the promotional materials to advertise the product or program for whichever company you choose to join. your work is to advertise by placing some of these onto your blog or website.

A good method of promoting the products is by writing reviews on them and once you begin to generate traffic to your blog and the products are seen by more and more visitors you will start making sales.

The great thing with affiliate internet marketing is that you do not need to worry about the basics as the affiliate company takes care of this for you. Your job as an affiliate is to promote and sell the products, the development, advertising materials and shipping of products is all done by the affiliate company as well as collecting the payment for the sales. Can you imagine a better method of earning an income online?

Another method that can be used to earn money from your blog is to open an Adsense account with Google and then allow them to place some text adverts on your blog. Every time someone visiting your site clicks on one of these ads you will earn a commission. Although the amount is usually quite small, all these little amounts can add up to a nice check in the end.

These are just a couple of ideas on ways to earn money online with your own blog and the good thing is that they do not need to cost you anything other that time and consistent posting to your blog so that it gets recognized by the search engines and listed where people looking for information can find it and become your customers.

Re: e-Commerce and e-Payment providers - When I came back to Japan in 1999 I sometimes used to ask my students if they would buy anything on the Internet and at that time most thought it was too risky. I'd encourage them to try by using well known sites such as Amazon.co.jp and also pointed out that using a credit card on a reputable site was safer than using it at a restaurant. I can't remember the last time I had that discussion or when the "tipping point" occurred in Japan. To answer your other question, I use Paypal for several reasons: 1. Brand familiarity 2. Easy to use 3. Free to withdraw 50,000yen+ to my Japanese bank account - a huge benefit (but maybe other systems also offer that...?) 4. Easy to cancel subscriptions On the down side, their transaction fees are quite costly, they are difficult to contact and when disputes arise you can sometimes lose even when you can prove via your tracking service that the disputed item was "delivered" to the customer's address!

Your ad shows up along site of the search results for the key words you specify and on other sites as "sponsered results". You could test the market with PPC (track where you get your hits from;keywords and so forth and use SEO to get FREE traffic), or Free methods like article marketing.. Just got this notification in my email and figured I'd help you out. Been working on my SEO. To answer your other question there are LOTs of other Free ways to advertise/market. For example Forum marketing Yahoo Answers (great for SEO to) But be careful not to bet banned. SEO of course Search Engine Optimization US Free Leads Article Marketing YouTube Twitter Yahoo blogs Blogging (blogger,squidoo, hub pages) Myspace Facebook Newspaper ads Craigslist etc. The list goes on. These are just a few I though of off the top of my head. Now that I think of it I need to start doing more myself. ideasuniversity had wrote quit a few good post on marketing/promotion, viral effects and such. You should check them out. Just a word of advice, make sure you have the write niche first. Anyway, hope this helps.
