Write reviews on products that you are promoting as part of your internet based business and so long as you have tested and tried these products you will then be in a position to recommend them to people.

Always give an honest review and inform people about anything with a product that you don't particularly like as well as the good points about it. This will not only help them to make an informed decision on whether or not the product is right for them, but it also helps to build your reputation as being someone that is trustworthy and will increase the possibilities of more people joining your mailing list as you become known as an expert in your chosen niche.

Writing product and book reviews is an excellent method of monetizing your blog. By adding an affiliate link into your review that will take the reader to a sales page you will find that you begin to increase the amount of sales that you make.

3. Book Reviews.

Make it a habit to read books that are connected to your particular internet based business niche and write reviews on them. As you would do with product reviews, discuss the positive and negative points that you find in the book that you are reviewing and remember to include an affiliate link to the book so that you can earn a commission when one of your readers purchases it. It is fairly simple to become an Amazon.com affiliate and earn commissions on any sales that you make.

These are just a few tips that should help you to keep your free blog up to date so by following these ideas and posting regularly to your blog you are sure to see an increase in traffic to your internet based business and as the traffic grows so too will your sales.

You have a smaller group that Blog, but do so on the premise that they think they should, but have never really considered the purpose of their Blog. Then I think there are a few SEO or Internet Marketing types that see Blogging as just another link building strategy. But the largest group of Bloggers, tend to be people who enjoy writing and discussing their topics of interest. Blogging is good for link building, but the true Blogger is a breed apart from the rest. They want to dialog, to debate, to have feedback and they are very willing to link to other worthwhile conversations that are relevant to their topic. I agree with you. These group of Bloggers obviously are passionate about their writing and together, they create huge conversation trails interactive and travel from Blog to Blog. But the evidence is clear with this group that loves what they write about. With comments enabled on a Blog and having a Blog tuned to a specific purpose you already have the evidence of original Social Media.
Internet Marketing Conference on SLife - I've been trying to log in but it keeps crashing.. anyways.. a friend of mine in BC plans on holding Internet Marketing Conferences on SecondLife and have the same top internet marketers that would normally be in Live Internet Marketing conference speak. Income will be generated from admission charges, product sales during breaks, sponsor tables, etc etc.. Just to get the ideas flowing in your head that anything you can do in the real world can be replicated in SL. There is no planned date as of yet for this conference.
