How to Begin Creating and Following Through On Your Online Income Goals

Whether it is a legitimate online business or anything that goes over a period of time, it can only really move forward and be on the road to success if there are clearly defined and definite goals in place. If a goal is clear then everyone involved will be more focused and determined to achieve the desired result, but if setting these goals is too difficult a task, then it will be unlikely that they will ever be attained. Below are some ideas on ways to not only create but also to follow concrete steps to achieve success and it is not important if they are for an online business or for personal goals.

• A goal needs to be exiting or the desire to take action will not exist. Most people have lofty goals for themselves or for their businesses, and by the end of a year or a time period where they expect to achieve these goals, they often find themselves still far away from these goals. An important reason for this is that a goal is not something that automatically propels action. The road to accomplishing these goals should be something that pushes a person to wake up every morning, to drive him or herself to achieve their aim. A person who is not moved by their goal won't really be moved to do anything to succeed with it.

• Goals have to be specific. Many goals will eventually be shelved simply because halfway through trying to achieve them, the person involved realizes that the goal is too up in the air and not tangible enough. People usually aim for goals that include being more "financially secure" and being "more contented and happier". These sure are lofty, but what do these concepts actually mean? It is essential that goals can be truly visualized in order to easily achieve them and it is also more exciting. Does being financially secure mean having a dollar savings account with $50,000 in it? Would spending a minimum of 4 hours per day with the family make you feel happier and more content? The more specific the goal is the more achievable and realistic it will be.

• Evaluating your efforts is essential. A look back to the past years, and especially the past year should give you an idea of where your life or business have succeeded, which parts were enjoyable, and which periods were filled with struggle. By auditing your previous year you will then be able to think about and make resolutions for the months or the year ahead. Are the scenarios of struggle unavoidable or can they be altered? Is it possible to replicate the periods of success? Consider

the strengths and the weaknesses that were used in those particular events?

Free time to create and promote my own products (relies on #1) 3. 5% of all revenues generated by my team going to feed starving kids Now that is "feel good work".

Re: Set goals that motivate you! - Sounds simple enough when you take it at face value, but what are goals? Are these short term or long term Goals, Are theses goal realistic, achievable?
