1. A well written and honest review that offers the pros and cons of a product will not only attract the search engines is will also attract more visitors to your online business.

2. Always make sure that you embed your affiliate links to the product you are reviewing into your post as this will increase your traffic and your sales which will mean better commissions.

3. By posting regular blog reviews on products you will get the added benefit of a better understanding and knowledge of your particular niche market and this will help your business grow to greater heights and establish your reputation as an expert in your field.

So as a beginner what would be the best method to use to start posting product review on a blog?

To begin with you need to build up a number of reviews on your blog and it may mean purchasing and using some of these products if you wish to give an honest quality review. Never be afraid to discuss things that you dislike about a product as it is necessary when giving an honest opinion to list the pros and cons as this will give a balanced and fair idea of what the product is about and can help your reader to make an informed decision with regard to buying it.

Not only will it build a trusting relationship with your regular readers but they will feel that you have their interests at heart. Remember that your blog is a way of getting in touch with your readers and is an excellent place to build a relationship with them based on trust.

If you choose to become an affiliate marketer there are literally thousands of products available on the internet which you can source at sites such as Clickbank. When you join as an affiliate of the program you will then have the ability to choose the products that you want to promote and write reviews on and you will earn a commission on every sale you make.

Always add a product photograph or video demonstration of the product you are reviewing as this helps with the promotion of the product. This can be extremely valuable.

As your online business review blog grows and you begin to generate more targeted traffic you will notice that many of your readers will leave comments with opinions connected to the product you are reviewing. It is essential for you to respond to these comments as this is how you build relationships and a community of followers which will lead to a hugely successful business.

The final point to remember of course is what you want to achieve by writing all these reviews. Affiliate commissions are one of the reasons but there are some others as well such as generating traffic, but a very important reason to keep in mind is the need to build a list of subscribers and the best way to get people to subscribe to your list is by offering a free incentive when asking them to give you their name and email address which should be possible for them to do in a prominently displayed opt-in box on your blog.

Writing reviews can be rewarding and a lot of fun to do and is a great way to monetize your blog and build a reputation as an honest and reliable expert and someone who is willing to help you build a solid online business with good advice.

Re: Service Or Product? - I agree with starting a Service-based Business in the economy. Here is what I think is critical: 1. Researching that your Service business has a market. 2. Marketing the Service with as much leverage as possible. 3. Product-izing the Service (aka Package Expert Knowledge). This will only help elevate you as "the" expert in your niche and make you accessible to people in different price points.

The Big Book of Small Business: You Don't Have to Run Your Business by the Seat of Your Pants, by Tom Gegax. Ditto. 3. PADI: The Business of Diving Book Okay, so this book won't be of use to anyone who doesn't want to start a scuba store, but I did, and this book was of course invaluable to me in reaching that goal.
