An essential component of your online business marketing plan is your landing page. It does not matter whether you are using it to sell a product or if its main function is gathering leads, if it not inspiring a feeling of trust in your visitors it will not encourage them to take action and your results will suffer. To improve your conversion rate without the need to employ an expensive copywriter, there are a few small tweaks that you can make to get better results.

Here are 3 quick tips that can increase the conversion rate to your landing page immediately:

1. Testimonials

One of the best methods for adding credibility to your statements is by having customer testimonials as a way to provide proof. Nothing works better than getting the opinion of someone who has used a product that you are thinking of buying. Offline businesses have used this marketing technique for years and online businesses are finding it even more effective. The only thing that you must remember is that these testimonials need to be as believable as possible.

Even when testimonials are one hundred percent authentic; they will not always be accepted as such by the reader. Although it is a common practice online to use fake testimonials, don\'t make this mistake as people are already very skeptical. If at all possible, include an audio or video recording of the person giving the testimonial, as this will increase the belief of the reader.

2. Add a Symbol of Trust.

There are various symbols available that will give your online business website greater authority and credibility. One of the most common ones that is used and trusted by many people is the Better Business Bureau symbol. It is incredible how quickly you can gain credibility just by adding these letters \"BBB\" and also a security badge if you are selling anything as this will alert any potential customers that any transactions they undertake with you are totally secure.

If the main purpose of your landing page is to build a list of email subscribers then adding an anti-spam symbol is essential, and as well as these traditional symbols it can help if you include symbols belonging to any other affiliations you may have, such as the local Chamber of Commerce as an example.

3. Include a link to your privacy policy.

Whether you are selling a product or just collecting information, people want to know that any information they give you will be protected and safe. Although it is quite a common practice today, it is still something that can be easily overlooked, and people need to know that their information is safe with you, so if you haven\'t already created your privacy policy, see that you do it immediately and at the same time include a Terms of Service especially if you are selling something. The majority of people tend to think that this is nothing more than legal jargon, but it still makes them feel more secure and that is what counts in the end.

Because it takes an enormous amount of time and effort to actually get people to visit your online business landing page, it is imperative that you do whatever is possible to maximize your conversion rate. Admittedly there are many really expensive options around that can help you to achieve this, but there are also some cheaper simple solutions that can do the job just as successfully. By using these 3 tips over the next few hours such as adding some customer testimonials, some symbols of trust and a link to your privacy policy you will maximize your chances of getting conversions greatly.

The structure is all there and I like how the testimonials are "related" to the business benefit of becoming a Partner - Nice work! Two points: 1. Have you tried other headlines or split tested other headlines? You can use google website optimizer to do it. I know you can come up with a slightly stronger headline unless this one came out on top. 2. I feel that when the page first loads it looks "incomplete". It's just a visual thing. I guess i was expecting a border around the content, a header image maybe... it's just the way i am wired to expect webpages to load. This point may be insignificant. Testing is the only way to know for sure.

A few new sites that I've been following also got Page Rank for the first time. Every time Google does a Page Rank update there are websites that get caught in the crossfire and have to work to get their rankings back up!

What others have mentioned about giveaways is a good idea. I also think updating your page with useful content on a regular basis is a must to keep Fans interested and coming back. This can easily be done if you have a blog because they allow you to import RSS feeds on your page. Every time you make a new blog post, your Fan Page can be updated.
www.tobuso.com and www.paperrollshop.com www.tobuso.com and www.paperrollshop.com - Please take a look at these and tell me what I should do. I am too close to them to see it objectively at this point. The main on is the tobuso.com one. The other is just a paper roll side bar project. I have had a guy working on tobuso.com for about 2 weeks or so. I really dont understand why it doesnt have any Google Page Rank yet. I am starting to move up in the rankings for my targeted keyword but I am lacking in the google Page Rank and cannot figure out why. I guess it may just take more time. See if that is what it looks like to you.
