Ezine advertising may not be the most popular way of advertising any more, but it is still effective and worth taking into consideration. The question is not about whether it works but rather whether it is worth investing in this method. There are various factors to take into account before rushing into this type of advertising and you need to decide if it is the right fit for your legitimate online business and if you feel that it will give you a good return on investment.

Let's take a closer look at some of the points to think about before deciding to go ahead.

1. To begin with you must think about the kind of online income business you are running. Is your business limited to any particular area geographically, because if this is the case then ezine advertising that has a global following will most probably not give you your money's worth, as the access to potential customers will not be very limited for you. Keep in mind that there are a lot of ezines that are geographically targeted, you just need to find them, but be sure that the content they publish is in alignment with your own legitimate online business niche. When all these things are in place then you have an excellent chance of success.

2. Another point to take into consideration is just how responsive the list is. Generally a good quality ezine can give you an idea of how successful the advertisements are, but if the ezine is published in PDF format it may not be so easy. In this case a good idea would be to look at previous advertisers, and if you see that many people are placing repeat ads then in all likelihood the advertisements are converting successfully.

3. Take a look at the growth rate of the ezine and especially at some of the variables in relation to the growth rate. Start off my seeing how many optins the ezine receives every month or how often it is sent out. The more opt-ins the ezine gets the greater your chance of getting an audience of readers who have not reached the stage of "ad-blindness" yet. Be sure that you look at the rate of opt-outs. If this rate is higher than the amount of opt-ins then it is likely that the content on the ezine is not that interesting, which could reflect badly on your own online business by association. It could also mean that many of the readers do not even read it.

Ultimately ezine advertising may be worth the expense so long as you ensure that the ezine is aimed at an audience similar to your own online business target market, and that they have a proven track record of responsive advertisements in the past. Even though it is not absolutely necessary, it could be beneficial for you to take a look at the growth of the ezine in connection with both opt-ins and opt-outs.

You can see my Bank statement......... - Hi there, Today we are bombarded with 'Business Opportunities' by the multitude. I believe it is possible to earn a lot through the internet, but it is hard work. Nobody gets it very easy on a long term basis. [b][b]How much notice do people take[/b], [/b]when the Bank Statements are shown as means of 'how credible' their business idea is? Are they always totally true? They look authentic. The whole industry is growing rapidly. What is your experience? Is there any regulation in presenting the 'Bank Statement' or other statements from 'Click Bank' etc ?
