How To Triple Your Affiliate Profits In 30 Days Or Less

If there is one lesson that I have learned well as an affiliate marketer, it is this – scaling makes all the difference between an affiliate who earns $1000 a month and an affiliate who commands an eye-popping 6-figures per year. So how you do scale your business? Well, there are 2 ways to do it – you either have to work harder or you'll have to spend more money. There are just no two ways around it. There is a third way, called leverage, and we'll get to that later.

Here are some ideas to get your brain juices flowing on how to triple your affiliate profits in 30 days or less:

1. More Effort

Let's say you're currently submitting articles to article directories and making a decent affiliate income out of this strategy. Could you write more articles per day to increase your output and hence your profits? Could you submit your articles to more places, perhaps to authority sites other than article directories? Those are just some foolproof ways to increase your income by increasing your effort.

2. More Investment

Alternatively, you can spend more money. If you're currently spending $10 per day on Adwords and making a decent return, could you spend $20 and make more money? And could you invest your advertising dollars in other paid ad sources like ezine ads, banner ads, coregistration, Facebook ads, cost per view ads etc? The problem is that most people don't have unlimited funds to play with, and that leaves us with…

3. Leverage

This is where you use other people's time, money and effort to increase your business. When someone with a 10,000+ responsive subscribers list promotes your squeeze page, you have leverage. Once you have funneled the prospects to your list, you can follow up with them through marketing emails that promote your affiliate links. Once you have that list, you can market to them forever. As you can probably tell by now, growing your own in-house list and initiating JV's is one of the best ways to triple your profits without working your tail off!

There are pros and cons to Affiliate Marketing, just as there are to any business. As has been suggested, he best policy is to proceed with caution and do some research before jumping in. As Carol has recommended, this topic thread in the EvanCarmichael.com forum is the ideal place to ask questions and seek further input on available Affiliate Marketing programs. If a person is serious about building an online business and is interested in Affiliate Marketing plans, they should approach the process as they would any other form of business. Research, ask questions, compare opportunities, participate in forums on online business and Affiliate Marketing. GT :-]
Re: Affiliate Marketing - Open for Discussion - You made some very good points here Jeff and I agree with you, Affiliate Marketing should not be something that you concentrate all your efforts into. As i said earlier I have learned a lot with Affiliate Marketing and continue to do so, and it has helped me tremendously to understand what I am going to have to do in my chosen niche(s). Re: Joomla Now Has A GetResponse Module - Hi Kevin, Interesting that you tried Joomla and then gave up on it. So did I! There is a lot to be said for Joomla. It can make your site look very professional, you can completely change design in just a few clicks of your mouse, and if you add anything to a panel you can display it throughout your site... Also, Joomla does seem to suck in traffic. My traffic stats improved with Joomla, probably because of the interactive features it offers, such as the article directory feature and so on. However, I also experienced various frustrations with Joomla. HTML is simpler and you have complete control over your site, but you do have to recode every page when you make design changes... (unless you are prepared to learn CSS and then deal with all the browser problems...) Also, I market the Plug-In Profits Site and came to the conclusion that it would be better business practice to show my potential customers what can be done with a Plug-In Profits site by using one myself and modifying it to suit my purposes. After all, there is no better advertisement for a product than the fact that the seller also uses it! On the other hand, I know a lot of Internet marketers who love Joomla, so I think it is just a matter of choosing what works best for you. ... And if you like Joomla and use the GetResponse autoresponder service, life just got easier for you! David H
Re: Affiliate Marketing - Open for Discussion - Hi GT Affiliate Marketing is one of the easier ways to get started making money online, but it does take quite a bit of work before you see any great results as you have to keep promoting constantly. It does teach you one hell of a lot about all aspects of Internet Marketing though as you will need to learn how to write and submit articles, create and maintain a blog, social networking is a great help to affiliates too..the list goes on and on.
