Written by: Aurora Bonaiuto

Article Overview: Making changes is not always easy. Stepping out of the comfort zone is half the problem. Once that's overcome, a person can fly with the opportunities given or sink. It's up to each one of us to decide if we will fly or drown.

Stepping out of the comfort zone & Building the Business

When one chooses to assert themselves in choices they make in their lives, the regrets and the blessings can battle it out on a scale. When it comes to breaking out of the 'norm' and going for something different, many don't have the courage.

There's a famous expression that goes something along the lines of: You cannot acheive something you've never had if you're not willing to do something you've never done.

And it is so true.

In my case, the courage was there and so were the regrets. However, the blessings came fast and washed them away.

I've wanted a life full of love, family, adventure, great friends and satisfying ventures. I thought it would take longer but am happy it didn't.

Thanks to the decisions on venturing into my new online marketing business, my husband and I now have the freedom to do what we want, when we want.

Our summer plans are shaping up to be lovely. We will be travelling and camping around the country for a month. No stress, just getting in touch with the beautiful natural art all around us, taking pictures, kayaking, hiking, cycling, etc.

And this has only been possible because of the courage we had to venture into new waters and joined an excellent team of entrepreneurs and system run by top professionals.

There are so many of us who step into pitfalls, get easily swallowed up and don't know what to do. Luckily for me that didn't happen. It didn't happen because I chose the right company and system from the start.

I have never seen a company with 24hr training, knowledgeable staff and a system that does virtually everything for you until now.

If you are seriously looking for a way to change your life around or are someone already in the MLM business and it's not working out for you, then you need to join the company that has it all there for you at your fingertips. The opportunity is given you. The wind is there. It's up to you if you'll take it and fly.

With a smile on my face and success in hand, cheers.

Re: Is "Good" - Good Enough Re: Is "Good" - Good Enough - It could be that some people are actually not too confident of their abilities, or fear success more than they fear failure (as I said before somewhere on this forum!!)... Also, if you have a business that is plodding along and all your pals have businesses that are plodding along, you can fall into a kind of comfort zone and imagine that "that is the way things are and were meant to be"... People might look askance if you start to look beyond the comfort zone. They might take it personally!
Re: Recently quit my job, new business owner Re: Recently quit my job, new business owner - You'v done the best thing. You've left the comfort zone. It might be hard at first, but when you keep on with it, you will get your desire result.
Re: First Brag of 2011! Re: First Brag of 2011! - Hi David Well done the podcast is excellent and at least you got out of your comfort zone and did it. Many people are held back by fear and don't take that step forward but you do it regularly and deserve the good results you achieve. MichelleJ
Never Neogtiate Price Never Neogtiate Price - I hate negotiating on price - like everyone else I'm sure. I'd rather find a part-time job to pay the bills than negotiate on price. When i did websites i made sure that I invested more time with the customer in the concept stage and in getting to know them a bit more. That investment in time in the early stages made them more comfortable to deal with me rather than another designer with cheaper prices because i gave them a sense of comfort that i knew exactly what they wanted and i would deliver. That comfort and trust i built was something you couldn't put a price on and it demonstrated higher value. I learnt this from a "Webdesign Business in a box" book I had purchased from Sitepoint. Aside from jumpstarting my Web business it also taught me some great interpersonal skills I still use today. Best investment I ever made.
Type of business with building Type of business with building - If you owned a building and Wal-Mart was opening its doors across the street in a previously unoccupied area (along with 12-14 small shops), what type of business would you start? Here are the considerations: 1. Money is a non-factor 2. Building is fairly large (10,000) square feet 3. Building is on the corner of a busy intersection (about to get much busier)
