The first article marketing idea I would recommend and my favorite is a how-to-article. This will definitely establish you as and expert as well produce traffic to your web site. The only thing is you must do some research and learn the topic you are going to write about. The last thing you want to do is make things up and tell people to do certain things that will not be effective for them and produce the results they are seeking.

The second article marketing idea I would recommend is a review article . With this type of article truly, you should never run out of things to write about. Also these type of articles will produce results as well . You can write a review on your company, another company, a product, system, marketing tool or whatever else you can find to write a review about. All you have to do is a little research. Now some people are lazy and probably won't do this or the previous article idea because it involves research but understand becoming successful online isn't easy. If it was, everyone would be successful and wealthy. Just suck it up and get to it. It will pay off. I promise.

The third article marketing idea is a problem and solution article. This one is pretty simple. Just think of a problem, it can be one you had or someone else. Then provide the solution to your problem or the person you wrote about's problem. Make sure the solution actually works. Do not write about something you have not done yourself, done thorough research on or has not come from a credible source. This is another great a easy way to create traffic and establish you as an expert in your field.

The following are some good strategies that are proven to work to help ou gain traffic to your website A) Forum Marketing b) Article Marketing - (Where you distribute your content is the key to success with Article marketing) c) Video Marketing d) Blogging e) Social Media ( sharing content amoungst a targeted network of friends or creating Fan Pages and updating) f) Ezine advertising ( send solo mailings to email lists of people within your niche) Go to google and type in your niche name followed by ezine or newsletter g) Pay per Click H) Joint ventures and ad swaps ( generally will need a list of email subscribers of your own) I) Classified adverts online J) Banner and Image ads - go to google and type in google image ads - full tutorial their I would reccomend you pick one strategy and learn it until you can generate some great traffic and then you should look to move on and implement other strategies.

After you learn in.. Start with the basic SEO techniques: - Web Directories Submission - Classified Ads - Social Bookmarking - Forum Posting - Blogging - Article Submission Then the rest follows..
