Free Download - Network Marketing for Complete Beginners; 12 Things You Need to Know! By Clare Ovenden |
Freedom and flexibility are amongst the many reasons why some parents consider running their own home business and there is no shortage of different opportunities available. Some will require you to take on staff and premises and high start up costs. Here I am outlining the benefits of a home internet business which has low start up costs and a massive income potential for entrepreneurs or business minded individuals.
So who is this for?
If you are, or have been, the main child carer in your family then the chances are one or more of these may apply to you;
- You have either had to give up your job for a period of time, if not altogether, or reduce the number of hours that you can work.
- You may miss keeping your brain active, interacting with other adults, as well as missing the income.
- You know that you are the best one to look after the baby, or make the daily school run and be there if your child is sick.
- You feel by not being at school or sports events you would be missing out and letting them down.
- Your children are older and more independent now and you are considering getting back into work.
- You want the challenge of trying something new, something for yourself, that will benefit your family with increased finances and the flexibility that working from home brings.
If any of these apply to you then a home business may be just what you are looking for - read on!
It isn't always easy to get back into work. Apart from there being less jobs available during times of recession there is more competition for limited places and a career gap can make you a less favourable candidate. A lack of recent work experience or training can make it even harder.
So a home business seems a good idea. Here are 5 reasons why;
- 1. Once you have found the business opportunity that suits you it doesn't need to take long to get started - no lengthy application, interviewing and vetting procedures.
- 2. As your own boss, you get the flexibility and freedom to decide the hours you work; around child-care or school, children's' sickness, and school holidays.
- 3. You decide where you work; an office at home can be in the bedroom or a corner of the lounge -anywhere as long as you can have some peace and quiet, without being disturbed.
- 4. It can bring in the extra income that will bring your children a better future. All parents want to give their children the best they can, and more money can certainly provide a better future; life experiences/home environment/paying for higher education.
- 5. If your current part time job doesn't pay enough, this provides a welcome second income that could well provide full time earnings!
How the right, supportive online network marketing opportunity brings even more advantages;
- ongoing and up to date training,
- An automated system - easy to get started after initial training, you don't have to know how to set up web pages or anything complicated
- membership of an international community with the possibility of attending live events , live training calls and webinars.
- As mentioned earlier there are low start up costs and you only need a computer or laptop with broadband and a phone. You can work to your budget, but more money can get quicker results.
- Physical location doesn't matter; you can even work in pyjamas and from bed (if you had a bad night)!
If you can't wait to get started - hold on! Keep these 5 points in mind for your own sanity (and the rest of your family)!
- You will need to have some quality, uninterrupted time - if you are watching a child their safety must come first!
- Don't allow yourself to become frustrated because there are distractions - wait for a better time to work.
- Work time into your schedule when you can have adult interaction - don't isolate yourself, friends are important.
- Remember to exercise too!
- Careful management of how you use your time is essential for anyone, especially for mums!
