Have you tried opportunity after opportunity and met with failure and frustration every time? Are you starting to believe that internet marketing is all a big scam? This was how I once felt about internet marketing, network marketing and most MLMs. I'd spent tens of thousands of dollars over the years, tried numerous different opportunities offered by countless companies, but it wasn't until my attitude about what I was doing changed that I finally started to realize success.
The real key to achieving results and realizing the benefits of my investments was that I needed to have a strong desire to succeed before I ever had a prayer of actually being successful. It was so crucial, in fact, that I put it in the top 5 of my list of top 10 best home based business success tools.
Does this seem insanely obvious to you? Are you wondering why you're even reading this article? Well, here's one more question for you: do you approach a new MLM opportunity or online marketing venture with an attitude of, "I'll try it and see if this one works?"
Yeah, so did I, and I got try-it-and-see results, too. This is an attitude that has no real desire to succeed in it. This is the common denominator in network marketing failure, and the reason 97% of people do fail. Because we 'try' instead of making a firm commitment to our business venture.
When a person invests $2 million to open a McDonald's franchise, do you think they do it with the idea that they will try it and see if it works? Of course not! It's easy to see how ridiculous that attitude is when there are two million dollars at stake, isn't it? It isn't any different if there are only a few thousand, or even a few hundred dollars at stake. If you don't have a strong desire to succeed, I can tell you with confidence that your chances of doing so are very slim. You cannot just hope to succeed, you have to want it more than anything else, or you most likely won't get it.
Focus, determination, planning, consistent persistent action; every guru will tell you that these are the critical factors to success in your business, and they are right. What you might not know is that all these ingredients start with a strong desire to succeed. Without that kind of desire the first space shuttle mission would never have left the launch pad, Jeff Gordon (the famous winning NASCAR driver) would still be a small town boy from Vallejo, California that you've never heard of (his original hometown before he relocated to join the racing circuit), Tony Robbins might have never put pen to paper and changed thousands of people's lives with his inspiring books.
If you focus on your desire to succeed, feed that desire with your dreams, fuel that desire with your actions and remind yourself of your desire constantly, it will become stronger and stronger, giving you momentum and drive that can make you unstoppable!
