Then they will take your money, tell you to go out and promote the program and you will never hear from them again. When you get frustrated you will quit and move onto the next easy online business opportunity! Somewhere along the line you will realize that "just go out and promote the program" is not as simple and straightforward as you have been led to believe. Sound familiar?

If you are serious about building your own online business and creating real financial freedom then you should be honest with yourself and accept the fact that it is not going to be easy - it is going to be work. That doesn't mean the work can't be challenging and enjoyable. The results of building your own online business will be well worth the effort if you take the time to build a real foundation for a successful, lasting business. A fly by night internet offer won't make you happy or successful in the long run.

Here are a few keys to make your efforts pay off:

• 1. Find an online business opportunity that offers complete training. This is the single most important key to your success. Online marketing can be a complex and competitive thing. It is a lot of fun to learn and once you find your groove you will be rightly rewarded but if you don't have training and guidance to get you started you will get burned.
• 2. Work on your mindset. Before you even get started and everyday thereafter. A business community that offers personal development as a part of their support network is surely one that has greater success. Mindset includes believing in your value and finding your drive.
• 3. Just be realistic. You need to accept the fact that building an online business requires work . You also need to be prepared for setbacks. Everyone has them. How are you going to get past them? What will drive you to move forward? Find a personal reason or need to succeed and you will be one step ahead
• 4. Be consistent and determined - after all, you are an entrepreneur now!

There is no such thing as an easy online business opportunity. You can however make it easier on yourself to build your online business by being well informed and realistic about the challenges that lie ahead. Best of luck in your entrepreneurial adventures and don't forget to enjoy the ride!

The Best Business Books Ever: The 100 Most Influential Business Books You'll Never Have Time to Read - this is a fascinating book about the history of Business theory, and I'd recommend it to anybody. 2. The Big Book of Small Business: You Don't Have to Run Your Business by the Seat of Your Pants, by Tom Gegax. Ditto. 3. PADI: The Business of Diving Book Okay, so this book won't be of use to anyone who doesn't want to start a scuba store, but I did, and this book was of course invaluable to me in reaching that goal.
