Which Online Business Opportunity is Right For Me?
If you are looking to work at home you probably already know that the number of online business opportunities available is overwhelming. How can you possibly figure out which one is right for you?
The following tips are for evaluating an 'online business opportunity', not necessarily applicable to the 'get rich quick opportunities' that are flooding the internet. This is for those entrepreneurs that are serious about building a business. This takes time and commitment.
When you are looking at a business' structure try to evaluate the following aspects:
The Product - is it high quality and in demand? how much competition does it have?
The Training - this is extremely important, lack of training in business and marketing is one reason why more than 90% of people fail
The Marketing Plan - online marketing is a competitive world, are they providing you with the tools you need to compete? A capture page and an autoresponder are absolute necessities and take time, money and know how to set up. You would be at a huge advantage if your business opportunity has those tools already set up for you. A funded proposal and a backend product are excellent business builders, are they part of the package?
The Compensation Plan - are you happy with the potential revenue? multiple streams of income is always a plus as well
The Community - are they available for support, can you actually contact someone if you need to? do they give back through charity? that alone says a lot about a business' ethics
Outside of the structure of the online business opportunity you have to look at your connection to the business. You have to have passion, whether it is for the product, the service or the business. Take time to get to know the business. Learn everything you can about it. Listen to your gut. Can you be passionate about it?
The product that I market for is great and I believe in it - but even more than that, what really keeps me going when I hit a bump in the road, is the community of people who built this business with integrity. I am passionate about those people and I want to be a part of that community.
You must have something that you are passionate about on a personal level to give you the impetus to always be moving forward, no matter what happens.
You need to figure out now what is going to drive you. It may be a very personal reason but wouldn't it also be great to have a community that supports you, training that keeps you fresh, a product you believe in...starting a business is hard work so you want to find a business that keeps the chips stacked in your favor.
That is the business that is right for you!
