The number one key to success in network marketing is marketing. It doesn't matter how good your company or product is. The only way you will ever succeed as an entrepreneur is if you become a master marketer. Just think about it. You need prospects and customers to become successful in network marketing, right? People that will buy your products and join your business opportunity. Since that's the case, what you need to do is find the people that want what you've got, and give it to them. That simple. The reason why most people fail in this industry is because they don't know marketing.

This is one of the most valuable network marketing tips that you will receive. Just think about it. Have you ever pushed your business or seen someone that's pushed a business opportunity on someone? They look desperate right? The reason why they are failing is not because people don't want to join their business or buy their products. They aren't succeeding because they aren't effectively marketing their business the right way. Effective marketing strategies are important to success with any business. The old ways of building a network marketing business are over.

Contacting friends and family, and prospecting people at malls and gas stations are not effective marketing strategies. These are old ways of doing business. People nowadays aren't receptive to this kind of marketing. They are turned off by it. But here's the key, millions of people are interested in having their own business. You just need to find these people and give them what they are looking for.

Where are all these people? On the Internet! Millions of people every day are searching online for a business opportunity. You just need to give them what they want.

Here's the problem that most network marketers today face. They are still stuck in the 1980's and 90's. They are building businesses using old marketing methods and techniques. People don't want to go to opportunity meetings, hassle friends and family, and have a whole house full of products and business tools they don't need. They want an opportunity where they can work from home and not have to hassle everyone they know.

The Internet is the number one place people go today when searching for a business opportunity. The terms "home based business", "work from home", "online business", and "internet marketing" are some of the most highly searched terms on the Internet. The old ways of building a business are done. Why spend hours every night of the week, driving all over the place to "show someone the plan", when you could invest that same amount of time building a business from the comfort of your own home? This is the new trend and it's not going away.

Social marketing has caused quite the splash in the home based business industry. People are now networking and advertising their business opportunities on sites like Twitter, Facebook, and MySpace. Instead of "writing a names list", people are now doing it virtually online by building "friend lists." Social marketing is absolutely an effective marketing strategy. Here's another network marketing tip when using social networking. Concentrate on using attraction marketing principles and self branding when marketing on these sites. Don't pitch your opportunity to everyone and tell them how great it is. People don't care. Give people value. Brand yourself as a leader and use the curiosity approach. Make people want to find out what you've got.

Marketing is the number one key to success as an entrepreneur. It's important to learn the right skills on how to become a master marketer. Just know that it will take some time to become a master marketer, but it's worth it. If you don't learn the skills on how to market the right way, you'll end up like the 97% that don't make it as an entrepreneur. Don't become like them. It's time to wash your brain from all the negatives that network marketing has created over the years, and refill it with 21st century marketing principles and strategies. You can have the freedom you so deserve. Now is the time. Become a master marketer today!

Re: MLM Marketing, youtube, and buzzirk mobile. - I have experience with MLM too. My initial reaction to the business was "snake-oil salesman" but once I got to understand the "overall business model" I am now an advocate to it. MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) is also known as Network Marketing. I realized an MLM business is no different than any other business. One needs to focus on both words "Network" and "Marketing" and give both equal respect. Some people focus heavily on the Networking part but forget "Marketing". I've started to use Building on a Budget and Magnetic Sponsoring concepts in my NM business and have found that people don't get involved so much because of the product but more because of what you bring to the table as far as marketing systems and support. I have both products listed in my signature. you don't have to buy it as the link to the free videos itself provides you a good understanding of what is required to position yourself as my above paragraph. If you do plan on purchasing it I can tell you that the measly $40 will open your eyes BUT your upline will not be too happy (atleast in the short term) beacuse the system is not duplicateable. I wrote this post as a polar post to Bulmer's reply as I have exhausted the friends and family networking and realized i never really focused on marketing. My leads now are more qualified and open to hearing about my opportunity than the other way around. my 2 cents if you plan on growing an MLM or Networking Marketing business.
Re: What is your Business? - We are running a Online Marketing Firm and we have some good clients to which we are offering a complete Digital Marketing strategy like Search, Mobile Marketing, Branding and Design. I think in Online Marketing company online presence can be a wining factor for the success of the company.

Forum Marketing Yahoo Answers (I need to use more of) SEO (Search Engine Optimization) Bum Marketing or Article marketing P-P-C (Pay Per Click) Marketing Online Directories Hope this helps.
