The secret about the "secret to internet marketing success" is that success is not a secret in this industry.

Profound isn't it? Well it's true.

There is no secret to internet marketing success because everyone that's ever succeeded in this industry has either written a book, memoir or given an interview about their success.

Success is not a secret. If this is true then achieving success in the internet marketing industry isn't really that hard.

If you are looking to finally have success in the network marketing industry all you need to do is "COPY" what the top leaders are doing.

That simple! You need to become a professional "COPYCAT.

So what are these leaders doing exactly to achieve success? Let's talk about what these leaders are not doing first.

They aren't bothering friends and family and contacting people at the malls or gas stations.

They also aren't spamming everyone on email, Facebook and Twitter like most network marketers today.

They aren't filling their cars with lotions, potions and business tools that they don't need and can't afford either.

They aren't joining the newest "get rich quick schemes" or "pre-launches."

They don't care about "reserving their spot" or "getting in now."

They don't care about "binary" compensation plans, "being at the top," and how many "levels" deep that they will get paid.

The reason why these leaders don't build a business this way is because IT DOESN'T WORK, IT DOESN'T MATTER, and NO ONE CARES.

These are old and outdated network marketing techniques that don't work in the 21st century.

No one cares about how great your business opportunity or product is. They get spammed everyday with hundreds of business opportunities.

So you aren't any different than anyone else. Or are you?

Here's the important key that you need to know if you want to become a successful internet marketer.

Millions of people are searching on the Internet everyday for a business opportunity and they are signing up like crazy into your competitors businesses? They are also buying the products that they are selling as well.

So why are they signing up into your competitors business and not into yours?

People want to be in business with someone that's a leader and that brings value to them. They want to follow someone that knows what they are doing and believes will teach them how to have success.

They don't want to be sold on a business opportunity or product. They want to be sold on the belief that they can truly have success regardless of what business or product is involved.

So how do you find the people that would be interested in joining your business opportunity or purchasing your products?

MARKETING!

Re: Kevin's Case Study #11 - A New Forum Category? - Hi Kevin, Like GT suggested, I also think you can add Internet Marketing as a sub category in the Marketing section and also a Social marketing as subcategory. Online marketing/internet marketing/online promotion are the same, and it will be best to use the common term - Internet marketing. I can't think about someone to moderate a Social Marketing category. We all use it, we all know how to make it work and we all have our own different experience with it.
Internet Marketing Conference on SLife - I've been trying to log in but it keeps crashing.. anyways.. a friend of mine in BC plans on holding Internet Marketing Conferences on SecondLife and have the same top internet marketers that would normally be in Live Internet Marketing conference speak. Income will be generated from admission charges, product sales during breaks, sponsor tables, etc etc.. Just to get the ideas flowing in your head that anything you can do in the real world can be replicated in SL. There is no planned date as of yet for this conference.

You sound like a very enthusiastic person who likes what she does and in Internet Marketing that is very important and you also sound like a 'people person' which is great. Internet Marketing is time consuming and challenging but can also be extremely rewarding and hopefully profitable. I don't know how many forums you have signed up to but this is one of the best. The support and guidance you get here is what makes it the success that it is but as I am sure you know from looking at the side bar that there are many aspects of business that are catered for here which will help you along the way, best wishes, Mal.
