Choosing content filled topics to write about.

So we have defined our target audience, and we have picked out our most relevant keywords, it is time to choose our topic to write about.

Choose one of your long-tailed keywords that you would like to use, and this will be the topic of your article.

Here is an example, say your long-tailed keyword is “Industry best Top Tier home based business” than your topic could be “How to find the industries best top tier home based business opportunity” or something like this, “How do you know this is the Industry’s best top tier home based business opportunity, “this long-tailed keyword is then incorporated into your content, and should be part of the title of your article.

These ideas can be helpful, in order to get the mind in gear and on track for writing articles.

Such as “How to article” an in-depth content rich article that explains exactly “How To” or a “Review of an article”, which can be given your prospective and thoughts on this particular topic. “A Problem and then a solution or result to an article” This can be a problem or a constant hurdle or distraction, and with every problem there should be an effective content filled solution for the best results. Another helpful hint could be your own “Personal experience in an article” that should be like telling a short story that grabs your audience’s attention. Also you can do a “Comparison type article” that tells a story about your past experiences and how your life has changed for the better now that you own your own business and have learned how to make money in your home based business.

Here is another fantastic way to get some content for your articles, think about how it was when you started looking for your own business opportunity, then write down 5 of your greatest concerns that you had before you made your decision to join your business.

Write about all the solutions that your newly found business resolved for you along with providing the solutions to all your needs that lead you to this search in the first place, now you have 5 more topics to write about.

Here’s is why this works so well: The people who are reading your articles most likely have the same issues and concerns that you had before you found this business and made that first step to resolving those issues, so this gives a prospective lead something that he or she can relate to.

Whenever possible, you want your article to have an emotional aspect to it that relates to problems of prospective partners and their frustrations, along with how your business will resolves all these issues for them. You need to think about all the problems that your prospective audience faces and what emotions are tied with these problems that you can use to help them resolve those issues.

These should be used as a guideline to helping you stir those creative writing juices, which will most likely lead into wonderful content filled articles for your audience.

Re: Readers, Money or SEO? Which comes first? Re: Readers, Money or SEO? Which comes first? - I agree with you that sites should have a lot of information on it. I wasn't talking about building thin affiliate sites, or even affiliate sites at all, and didn't mean to come off that way. Personally I own very few thin sites and instead focus on writing good content to fill a site while also focusing on getting ranked. However, not all sites need a lot of content nor do they need to be updated frequently. There's only so much you can write about certain topics. And if you do have a site with little content you can still almost always outrank any site with a lot of content as long as you have more and stronger backlinks. I thought you were talking about building up subscribers, RSS readers and followers as something that needed to be done before you can get rankings or make money, and I do not think that is needed in most niches, and in many niches couldn't be done even if you wanted to.
Management Processes? Management Processes? - I'm a task-oriented person but I typically use processes when I go about accomplishing routine tasks. For instance when I draft new content for our content marketing campaign I always: -brainstorm a few related ideas -scope out a few actual pieces of content -outline/frame pieces of content -write the content -have the subject matter checked by my supervisor, rewrite, repeat -have the spelling/grammar checked by the technical writer (he's an expert proofreader) -put the content onto our CMS, have it checked by our webmaster -select publication date, enter it into the calendar -Profit. Do any of you guys manage yourselves/your employees/your tasks using any kind of process?
Re: Google's algorithm Re: Google's algorithm - If you write your own high quality content or have it outsourced specifically for you then you should be alright. Of course, you still have to worry about scrapers and other people who steal your content and somehow end up making G think it's theirs, but that's something you have to deal with if/when it happens.
Re: Looking for a Blog topic? Re: Looking for a Blog topic? - Great advice from both the posts above. I for one more often than not battle for topics to write about. MichelleJ
Re: Bad SEO techniques? Re: Bad SEO techniques? - [quote="jacksonp":1y3g8bot]that is quite true.We all should avoid these kind of techniques.I am here sharing few more points which we should take in mind..As an experienced person of SEO I want to share here some facts which should be avoided by us.I hope that these will help some of the newcomers a lot.. Choosing a title that has no relation to the content on the page Using extremely lengthy titles that are unhelpful to users Using a single title tag across all of your site’s pages or a large group of pages Stuffing unneeded keywords in your title tags Writing description meta tag that has no relation to the content on the page Multiple domains Multiple identical sites Cross Linking[/quote:1y3g8bot] re: Cross Linking, how do you define that? I thought linking to other pages on your website (that are related) was a good thing...maybe that's not what you meant.
