First of all you’re going to need a Domain name, and then you’re going to need a Hosting site, along with an FTP site in order to upload files to your web page.
A good Host site is Hostgater, because they have the proper application in Cpanel called Fantastico that allows you to connect to Wordpress.org where you can setup a free theme that will become the basis of your control centre or your business centre.
This whole process cost less than $100 dollars, and is very easily accomplished; I am proven fact, having no previous knowledge of how to make my own web site.
The key here is to present knowledgeable content that is relevant to the customer’s needs, not only do search engines thrive on this information, but if you think about it, you have just started the beginnings of your career in marketing.
