Asking Better Questions To Get Better Results In Your Network Marketing Business

This is a well-known fact; if you would like to get better answers in life you have to ask better questions. Asking the right questions in the right way has the capability to have a massive effect on the success of your home based business. The ability to communicate and to build a connection with potential business partners or customers is what separates the great from the good. So, how do we get better at handling challenging situations and how do we get more intuitive about what someone is really saying. With internet marketing it is essential to build a rapport quickly once you get to speak to someone offline. A decision is seldom made without a certain amount of personal contact. Are you aware of conversations where someone initially seemed quite keen but by the end of the call they have become a bit evasive – have to run this one past my wife, my friends, or do more research, or recheck my finances or whatever excuse is given to not commit? Have you thought did I blow that one? First you need to understand the different types of question. The closed question only allows for a short yes or no response. The open question allows the other person to expand and speak at more length. The multi choice question only allows a limited number of short responses. The leading question gives the answer as part of the question. Learning which questions to use at which point in a conversation is crucial. Opening with an open question is often recommended as this gives the prospect an opportunity to talk about themselves or their thoughts and is great to get a relaxed feeling. An example would be “Tell me what has brought to the point where you are looking at starting a home based business”. The trick is not to let this go on for too long before using a closed question to get to the point. This is also a trial close – such as “Have you ever considered how it would feel to be earning a six or seven figure income on your own terms from the comfort of your home? Is this something that would interest you?” The leading question is also valuable as a close – something like “If you had a choice between your your current career or a life of financial freedom, time to spend with your family and all the benefits of free enterprise what would you choose? Multi choice can come in when discussing compensation plan options. “So which option would you like to get started with x or y? The second key is your own posture and positioning. You will need to be relaxed but forceful. You will need to be the leader who others want to work with. Your tonality, language and attitude are all vital. Also the skill of turning an aggressive or condascending question around by replying with another great question is essential. For instance if someone comes on strong with “How much money have you made in this business anyway?” it is a good response to counter with “I am well on my way to financial freedom, but this conversation is about what you can achieve. Why do you ask that question?” You will find replying with a question in a relaxed manner with no hint of irritation will often soften the prospect's approach. Try this out. Next time you get one of those phonecalls for surveys, timeshares, paid tv, donations or whatever quickly sum up the phone technique of the caller. Compliment them on their professional and friendly manner. Ask them their name. Ask them if they enjoy their line of work. Ask them if it pays well. Then ask them if they had ever considered working for themselves with the opportunity to earn huge amounts of money from home with no cold calling, no selling and no convincing. You may find the answers you get interesting.

Why do people hate Network Marketing / MLM? Why do people hate Network Marketing / MLM? - I've been looking at a number of different opportunities and end up meeting a lot of Network Marketing / Multi-Level Marketing people. Some of the offers look interesting but everyone I talk to about it says to avoid these guys like the plague - what's the deal? Why do people hate network marketers and MLM people so much? My initial reaction to the business was "snake-oil salesman" but once I got to understand the "overall business model" I am now an advocate to it. MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) is also known as Network Marketing. I realized an MLM business is no different than any other business. One needs to focus on both words "Network" and "Marketing" and give both equal respect. Some people focus heavily on the Networking part but forget "Marketing". I've started to use Building on a Budget and Magnetic Sponsoring concepts in my NM business and have found that people don't get involved so much because of the product but more because of what you bring to the table as far as marketing systems and support. I have both products listed in my signature. you don't have to buy it as the link to the free videos itself provides you a good understanding of what is required to position yourself as my above paragraph. If you do plan on purchasing it I can tell you that the measly $40 will open your eyes BUT your upline will not be too happy (atleast in the short term) beacuse the system is not duplicateable. I wrote this post as a polar post to Bulmer's reply as I have exhausted the friends and family networking and realized i never really focused on marketing. My leads now are more qualified and open to hearing about my opportunity than the other way around. my 2 cents if you plan on growing an MLM or Networking Marketing business.
10 best franchises to get involved 10 best franchises to get involved - My advice is: 1) Go to the library and start reading business books (accounting, finance, etc.) 2) Go to your local community college and enroll in night classes 3) Join the local Chamber of Commerce 4) Network / Network / Network -- through the above sources. Once you have spent two years doing the above, then look for a 55 - 60 year old business person that is looking to reduce their time in the business. Then you can work on a sweetheart financing option.
Re: answer this question Re: answer this question - This is a good topic. I haven't done anything, yet, to seriously damage my business. I did shift gear though. It was the best decision I ever made. For me, affiliate marketing was not working. Making the switch to Network Marketing made all the difference.
