I am Not Going to Chase a Woman from Zimbabwe up a Power Pole to Tell Her About My Business Opportunity

I would like to relate to you something which happened a couple of days ago when a phone line went on the blink and needed a technician to sort the problem out. The technician arrived and it turned out that she was from Zimbabwe. It is, I suppose, reasonably unusual, firstly to have a female telecommunications technician arriving in a van, but also she was a relatively recent immigrant to New Zealand from the chaotic country, Zimbabwe. Unfortunately for her, she works for one of the major telecommunications companies here and as such is being forced into becoming a dependent contractor in a cynical cost-cutting move by her employer. This means she has to purchase her van and tools, look after all of her insurance, accounting, tax and to make matters worse if the company she is going to be contracting to decides they require fewer technicians for any reason at all she will be completely unable to do anything at all about it. No redundancy, no holiday or sick leave. This is the unenviable position of anyone working for a large company in the conventional business realm.

I am in the incredibly fortunate position of having my own business and being a home based internet entrepreneur. I do not have to deal with cynical, uncaring employers and the uncertainty and anxiety that comes with this precarious career choice. I have complete freedom to work as I want, when I want, with only myself to answer to if I don't reach my personal goals. Do you know how empowering that is?

It would be very tempting to follow this woman up the power pole she was working at the top of to hand her a business card to introduce her to my business and give her the opportunity to make a change in her life. But I don't need to. The principle of attraction marketing means I don't have to chase or harass anyone about my home based online business opportunity. I market on the internet and people who want to work with me contact me and ask to join me in my business. How great is that? When someone is ready to make a change in their life by joining the amazing growth industry of internet marketing all they have to do is go online and search for the right opportunity.

This means I do not have to sell anyone on anything. The decision is theirs and theirs alone. There is no convincing necessary if you have the right business model and system.

Of course there are an awful lot of so-called business opportunities out there which ask people to make lists of family, friends, old school mates, work colleagues etc and they are asked to approach them all to sell the opportunity to them or have meetings in their homes to try to convince them of the validity of the business. Pretty soon friends are avoiding them and even family members are screening their calls. Cold-calling to sell the opportunity is another favourite method for these network marketing companies. If you like being abused and hung up on go ahead and join one of these companies.

The smart money is definitely on a business that markets using attraction marketing. This enables you to be confident you are bringing value to those who are serious about starting a home based business and opting for all of the major lifestyle benefits that this business brings.

Fortunately I do not have to chase a woman from Zimbabwe up a power pole to tell her about my business opportunity!

As a conductor of your own enterprise, you can not see yourself as a one-woman-show. You must choose to utilize the power people in your life, by asking for help when you need it, and effectively delegating in order to capitalize on your strengths and that of your power network. When certain experts are not represented in your power network, you must actively seek advisors or mentors and develop a team of specialists, so the benefits are received by everyone involved in the power network - the true Power of Power Networks.

I have some books that can be sold on eBay for good money, but my problem is that i don't want to let go of these books. I have hundreds of them. I have some James Hadley Chase books that I saw been sold for top dollars on eBay, but i can't part with them.
