Living on a group of islands in the South Pacific like New Zealand it may seem to be unfeasible to start a home based internet business because of a number of potential limitations. We are an isolated country with a time zone which makes it difficult to communicate with people around the world at times which are suitable for both parties. Also you would think that people are not going to take as much notice of an online business opportunity which is being promoted by someone in a country most people around the world barely know. How seriously are others going to take you if you are not based in the United States or Great Britain?
Interestingly, in my experience with online marketing business it makes no difference what country, culture or time zone you come from. With the incredible advances in communication technology it can actually be an advantage to be flexible with your working hours. The internet operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. One of the great things about this business is that you can operate your business no matter where in the world you are as long as you have access to a fast internet connection and preferably access to a cellular phone network. This means if you travel overseas you can take your business with you. Imagine being able to run your business while you are on holiday overseas.
As far as being taken seriously in online business I have found people have no problems dealing with someone from another country as long as you are professional, knowledgeable and have a great business system with a global presence and resources which can be accessed 24 hours a day. By plugging into a system which accentuates the value of personal branding and having constant lines of communication available the prospective business partners who come to you will greatly appreciate personal contact and assistance in getting started with their home based business opportunity.
With many of the internet marketing businesses you will find online there is a lack of this personal interaction. Being a New Zealand resident you will probably be a bit nervous about committing to a business where all you see are technically well put together websites with claims of instant wealth if you send money to a bank account on the other side of the world. This anxiety is perfectly understandable and also quite wise. I have seen people who have invested large sums of money into so-called guaranteed automated money making systems with no experience needed and with no effort involved...right! The outcomes are almost always poor.
If on the other hand you find an internet marketing business which has a proven track record of success internationally, where the people you are doing business are real people who are available to answer questions and to help you establish a successful home based business and who have a system involving education and training of the highest quality. You must also find a business where the top achievers in the industry give back to the community in mentoring and training and which has a leveraged compensation plan which rewards you substantially for your successes. A business marketing system with a broad platform of cutting edge internet marketing techniques is essential to gain the presence you need to get great results.
The internet marketing business I use has experienced massive growth and is now operating in over 160 countries worldwide. The websites are translated into more than 40 languages and the success being achieved by members of this community is spectacular. My team has members from all over the globe and it is fascinating to meet and get to know so many people from such varied backgrounds.
In summary, it does not matter whether you are based in New Zealand or in any other country. If you choose the right business you will have access to a global market of a billion and a half people.
