Public Enemy Number One To Your Home Based Internet Business
Public enemy number one, and you may be completely unaware of this one,is chipping away at the potential results in your home based internet business. This enemy is stopping you from achieving the level of success you deserve and it is causing you frustration and anxiety. It is trying to make you quit your dreams and it is trying to make you believe all of the doubters and naysayers who have told you not to waste your time with this crazy stuff!
Where does it come from? Your own mind.
What is it? It is procrastination.
There are a multitude of reasons why we procrastinate and the first challenge is to be aware of why we do it.
It could be a lack of confidence in our abilities, fear of being criticized, feeling overwhelmed by the size of your to do list, a fear of failure, a fear of success, having unrealistic ideas of the quality of your work, not wanting to create anything which is not perfect.
How many times do you find yourself distracted and how many times do you find yourself doing everything except the tasks you have set out to do? I think I'll make myself something to eat, I will just listen to a CD before I start, I will just attend one more training call, I think I should tidy up my inbox, facebook, twitter, my room, my house, the garden, my car...my life!
This lack of momentum is the reason why you are not getting the results you require.
So how do you stop procrastinating?
This is how I do it. I begin by setting myself a regimented action plan. I have a set of production targets which I must achieve and I make sure I am held accountable by my mastermind group and my wife and business partner, Midge.
I make sure that I begin with a task which is going to take the most time and effort and is going to get the biggest results first!
An example would be writing an article, making a video, creating a PPC campaign, writing a blog post or press release. I must do this before I go anywhere near email or social media. Once I have completed this I work through my list in the order which will drive the most traffic. To get lots more leads you need to be disciplined in this process. Your home based internet business will not succeed without as much traffic as you can possibly generate. Be conscious if you are still putting up obstacles to prevent you getting started.
Beating the enemy and posting the completed content or getting the traffic from your ad campaign is a big reward for your efforts. NOW you can attend to all of the other less crucial tasks.
Stop procrastinating now! Not soon, not tomorrow,not next week...NOW!

I was inspired by Mr. Bill Gates ever since I was a student learning Computers. But I was motivated for Internet as my Business, when I read his book "The Road Ahead" in 1995. It was in this book that Gates laid out his vision of an interconnected world built around the Internet.
Based on the premise that life will be transformed by the convergence of inexpensive computing and inexpensive communications, Gates drew from his experience at the center of the personal computer revolution to give insights on the growth, evolution and impact of technology.
I had always looked up to Bill Gates as my idol. When I read this book, it made me more focussed on Microsoft and Internet, The Internet was one of the upcoming things in this time. So I took over to the Internet as my primary business.
