Global Resort Network Better than Timeshare

Global Resort Network Better than Timeshare

Planning a vacation, however, can be difficult, timely and expensive. You can spend hours searching for the best location and the best accommodations, all for one low affordable price. Timeshares were created to help people plan a less-stressed vacation at their favorite destination for several weeks of the year. Relatively new to the market is Global Resort Network which allows you to plan a less-stressed vacation at a location of your choice for an unlimited amount of weeks during the year. A timeshare is much like a condominium that is owned by several people who many times do not know each other. Timeshares are set up through companies who bring groups of people together who want to own a timeshare in the same location and lets them pull their resources together to buy one timeshare. Each part owner has several weeks out of the year where they are allowed to use the timeshare for their vacation. This overall is cheaper than staying at a hotel and since you own it, you will feel more comfortable in it.

For those who like to try different locations, they have timeshare swapping where you can swap one of your weeks with someone else in another location. You can also rent out your week to someone else if you are not able to use it. Timeshares require a large initial down payment and then annual fees for maintenance, taxes and utilities.

Global Resort Network is a membership program, where members are able to select their destination spot every time they plan a vacation. Platinum members are given an unlimited supply of weeklong vacation for the entire year and Gold members are allowed three weeklong vacations each year. Both plans will provide the vacation for an extremely low rate. Platinum members are also given the benefit of unlimited guest weeks allowing them to bring friends along on their vacation.

Global Resort Network members are given a choice of over 5,000 world-wide location spots and can pick a different location each time. Reservations are made from one year to three days prior to the arrival date and are for 3, 4, and 5 star accommodations that are specifically chosen by the Global Resort Network. All of these benefits are included in the membership fees that can be paid in a one or three year interval.

Both timeshare and Global Resort Network are able to help their clients plan vacations that won't have them spending hours searching for the best hotel. Global Resort Network is substantially cheaper because it will not require any huge initial investment like timeshares require. While timeshare have you select one vacation spot to spend all of your vacations at, Global Resort Network lets you select a different location for every vacation you take. Timeshares do allow you to swap your weeks with someone in another location, you have to hope you will be able to find someone willing to make the swap.

RE: Life isn't fair / 'Ol Boy Network - I certainly won't argue that 'Ol Boy Network practices exist and probably always will to some degree because, yes, people like to work with those like themselves. I am curious, though about reactions to the content and approach of the article itself, particularly given that it is from an HR / Management consultant: 1) What does the phrase "'Ol Boy Network" mean to you? 2) Do readers view his discussion as an impartial observation of the phenomenon or do his comments such as "...is not a bad thing," "it's natural," and "are normal occurences" sound like he's expressing an opinion that the practices are OK to continue because that's how it's always been? 3) Would the nature and direction of the content affect your tendency to hire this individual as a consultant? I tried to explore this with the author himself but he was extremely defensive and somewhat insulting regarding the possibility that his article might be perceived as endorsing the practice. I'm looking for a barometer check.
