Unless you absolutely can't make the payments financially then you should make your loan payment and annual fees as normal. If you stop payment it will hurt your FICO score and ultimately you credit rating and they will send it to collections. If you are not going to be using your timeshare then you should rent it out during your designated weeks, this will help you recoup some of your money.

When you have decided to officially sell you timeshare, your first step should be to stop at your timeshare's office and see if they are interested in buying it back from you. This is sometime the best way to get rid of a timeshare property. Many companies will not buy back because is does not make as much money for them but it's still worth checking. Even if they are not interested in buying it, they may know of someone interested in purchasing a timeshare in your location.

Many people consider hiring a real estate agent as the best way to get rid of timeshare properties. Real estate agents with experience in selling timeshares may be a good match for you but you need to be careful. First, you want to select an agent from the state where your timeshare is located, this will give them a license to sell in the area and they will also be more knowledgeable about the area. Second, don't hire an agent that is requesting for you to pay any upfront fees like adverting fee, appraisal fee or marketing fee because these are often scam agents who are not really interest in selling your timeshare. Your agent should only make their profit through the sale of your timeshare.

If you decide to sell it on your own, you will want to employ the services of a lawyer to help you with the paperwork. When selling on your own, online marketing is the best way to get rid of timeshare properties. There are several online sites where people place their timeshare to sell like eBay and the more places you post your information the better chance you having at selling it for the right price.

When it comes to pricing your timeshare, you may be extremely disappointed at what the going market rate is. Timeshares are not like homes because they do not appreciate in value, they actually depreciate. You may have to sell it at 50% of the initial price you paid for it. It may be hard to do but the best way to get rid of timeshare properties is to list is at the right price that fits into the current market.

But all you have to do is right click an online image you want to use as your avatar, then go to "Properties" and copy the URL address and paste it into the "Link to off-site Avatar:" field in your forums profile.
