A Small Business Review: The Pros & Cons of 5Linx

5Linx Scam and 5Linx Review.

Why Read This 5Linx Review?

I am NOT a distributor or an employee of this company. I'm an Internet entrepreneur and a business expert from the school of hard knocks as well as a traditional MBA.I've been involved with all sorts of businesses, mostly start-ups for over 20 years and have written this for others to be able to decide if 5Linx is the right opportunity for them.

This is a technology company, with an interesting and innovative product sold through a traditional MLM (Multi Level Marketing) distribution system. I see a huge opportunity for distributors in this company and will tell you exactly why at the end of this review.

New businesses require time and money. Lots of both. Network Marketing is different in that the costs to begin are typically less than other options. Getting your new business up and running with require a no-quit mentality and a lot of hard work and effort.

The company appears to be solid with a good management team and a lucrative comp plan. I believe there are opportunities here to make a decent income if you understand how to market this company utilizing new technologies and marketing systems.

For specifics, read the detailed explanation below.

Explanation of the Review

Reputation

Nothing stood out about this company in terms of complaints.A few distributors had switched to a competitor, but there were no complaints specifically about the company.

Looking online at the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) site revealed no outstanding complaints, either. The Better Business Bureau (BBB) in Rochester, NY, showed dozens of company.

Years In Business

Operations began in January of 2001. A safer bet is a company that has been around for several years since most companies will fail within the first 12 months.

5Linx Review: Management

The Company has a well-rounded team that encompasses each area of the business: cellular sales, product development and direct marketing. I think a management team with extensive sales background is awesome.Without sales, there's no company. The sales criteria is met with this company.

Craig Jerabeck, CEO and President has been with the company since 2001. With a background in cellular sales at the retail level and plenty of management experience, Mr. Jerabeck is an excellent choice for this entrepreneurial venture.

Jeb Tyler, Exec VP of Marketing, brings a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing to the team but the website doesn't really say a lot about his prior experiences. So, I'm assuming his experience isn't as in depth as Mr. Jerabeck's.

Jason Guck is the Executive Vice President of Sales and has many years experience directly associated to Network Marketing which is a good tie in for the corporate team considering their business model. Mr. Guck spent many years in similar organizations.

5Linx Review: Financial Stability

At the time of this writing, the company is privately held and listed on INC 500 as one of the fastest growing companies in the country. Not a bad sign. Growth has been over 800% in a 3 year period.

5Linx Review: Products

Internet Service Provider, High Speed Internet & Satellite TV. Probably known most for their VoIP calling plans. The products and services appear to be of high quality, no complaints were found online.

5Linx Review: Competition

This market has a lot of competition with familiar brand names which could make lucrative opportunity. These are services everyone needs.

5Linx Review: Compensation Plan

This is a traditional MLM direct marketing model. You can earn money when you sign on new distributors to work the business as Monthly bonuses including profit sharing are also available.

Top leadership is treated like company executives with corporate benefits, vacation plans, a leased BMW and more bonuses. The top level also receives a car upgrade to a Bentley and more profit sharing.

Opportunities start at $99 (limited) and increase to $499.

5Linx Review: Leadership

The one negative about this company, from my perspective, is their use of old-school marketing requiring people to contact everyone they know and have a personal conversation. Sort-of contrary to the fact that they sell high tech products.

Remember, you need a lot of people looking at your opportunity daily, in order to reach the goal of one new sign-up per day. You should always be checking out the people who have the most success. Interview them and sit in on one of their trainings. How do they market and train their team? Look for a "blueprint", or a "system?" that will get you started step-by-step.

See Training below.

5Linx Review: Training

Plenty of marketing materials and traditional conference and group calls are provided to train distributors. This is the standard fare in Network Marketing. The biggest reason for failure in these organizations is this old school way of training people to literally talk to anyone who comes within a reasonable distance. This is a difficult way to work the market and strange considering the products they sell.

Marketing online can generate up to 200 leads, every single day. That works out to hundreds of peope looking at your business each day. Physically talking to that many people is tough and that is the beauty of the Internet They'll come to YOU.

5Linx Distributors Have A Goldmine Opportunity

Leverage the Internet. The big questions - where is it people shop when they purchase electronics? ONLINE. This is an outstanding company, especially when combined with the power of attraction marketing and today's technology. The distributor who uses the Internet for their business will dominate the market in a matter of months and that's exactly why I put together this website.

No more:

Instead, powerful online sales funnels:

I've done it for my business and many, many others. You can use my step-by-step blueprint to do the same.
