Marketing Your Business on a Budget

If you are on a limited budget, there are many options available to you to drive traffic to your business or personal website. However, as with any business, you will need to be consistent on a daily basis with your marketing efforts to build momentum.

You must be willing to do whatever it takes to bring in results on a continual basis, until you are making money. Many top producers in the Online Marketing Community have used low-cost advertising to get their businesses off the ground. Consistency and Focus is the key.

When using free or low-cost advertising, you need to provide content for people so that it will entice them to click your link and learn more about you, the service or product that you offer. Using only a few sentences or vague descriptions in your advertising, will turn people off and will not help drive traffic to your site.

You can provide content to people in two ways: Writing or Video.

These can include:

Whatever method you to choose to market your business, service or product, remember, that the more you advertise, the more sales you will generate.

One of the biggest mistakes that new marketers make is quitting an advertising campaign because it didn't bring in enough leads from the start. Often, you only need to make what you're already doing better. Making small adjustments to your existing advertising can have a very big impact on your business.

It doesn't matter whether you are an Internet Dynamo or a computer novice, ANYONE can use these methods to make their business successful.

It just takes Focus, Consistency, Patience, and most of all ACTION.

Re: MLM Marketing, youtube, and buzzirk mobile. Re: MLM Marketing, youtube, and buzzirk mobile. - I have experience with MLM too. My initial reaction to the business was "snake-oil salesman" but once I got to understand the "overall business model" I am now an advocate to it. MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) is also known as Network Marketing. I realized an MLM business is no different than any other business. One needs to focus on both words "Network" and "Marketing" and give both equal respect. Some people focus heavily on the Networking part but forget "Marketing". I've started to use Building on a Budget and Magnetic Sponsoring concepts in my NM business and have found that people don't get involved so much because of the product but more because of what you bring to the table as far as marketing systems and support. I have both products listed in my signature. you don't have to buy it as the link to the free videos itself provides you a good understanding of what is required to position yourself as my above paragraph. If you do plan on purchasing it I can tell you that the measly $40 will open your eyes BUT your upline will not be too happy (atleast in the short term) beacuse the system is not duplicateable. I wrote this post as a polar post to Bulmer's reply as I have exhausted the friends and family networking and realized i never really focused on marketing. My leads now are more qualified and open to hearing about my opportunity than the other way around. my 2 cents if you plan on growing an MLM or Networking Marketing business.

Re: How many mambers of this forum are also member of WF? Re: How many mambers of this forum are also member of WF? - Hi Kevin, I have to agree with Tanny. All forums are unique in their own way, but doesn't mean that one is better than the other. What you might get out of one forum, you may not get from another. For instance, the WF focuses on Internet Marketing, while this forum focuses on Entrepreneurship. Each has their own set of benefits. I don't think you can really compare one to the other, unless of course they focused on the same topic. I have learned a lot from this forum, stuff I would never have gotten from the WF. With that being said, I've learned a lot from the WF, specifically since I need to know about Internet Marketing and running an online business. The addition of the Online Business forum here will help, and Jeff is doing a great job as moderator.
