Online Internet Home Based Business - Tips on how to be successful

Article Overview: You've started you business and now you have that dreaded "buyer's remorse" and you start to second guess your decision on starting your home business. There's a ton of different thoughts that are going through you mind and you can't really see what direction that you need to go to be successful in your new venture. Don't worry, these feelings are normal and everybody that has a home business will tell you that they started in a similar situation and had the same feeling that you're having right now. I have a few guidelines that you can follow and I hope that this will help you get started in the right direction toward success.

Online Internet Home Based Business - Tips on how to be successful

First off, you need to prepare yourself if you haven't already with your mindset. You should be excited and confident that the work that you are performing for your business will pay off and you will reach your goals that you've set for yourself. You should already have an idea as to what your goals are, after all that's probably why you set out to find a home based business to begin with. Desire is the first step toward riches, so you need to have your "head on straight" from the beginning and continue to keep your mindset throughout your ventures for your business to keep moving forward.

Once you have your mindset in place, you need to start taking action and continually perform income producing activities on a daily basis if you want to be successful in an online internet home based business. This is your business, nobody is looking over your shoulder to see if you are performing these activities every day because you are only accountable to yourself. Whether you write articles, blog posts, press releases or make videos on a daily basis, you will soon see the results of all of your hard work that you've been putting into your business and be very happy with the rewards that are associated with these actions. Be consistent and persistent in your daily activities, this is where your mindset will play a role in your online internet home based business. Consistently performing income producing activities every day will keep your business moving forward. If you have a challenging day and things just don't seem to be going your way, stay strong with your mindset and be persistent in your actions and you will break through the barrier or obstacle that is standing in your way. If you consistently do this on a daily basis knowing the direction that you're heading and the goals that you want to achieve, you will succeed at everything that you want to accomplish in your business.

Re: Who inspired you to start? - Hi Evan, I was inspired by Mr. Bill Gates ever since I was a student learning Computers. But I was motivated for Internet as my Business, when I read his book "The Road Ahead" in 1995. It was in this book that Gates laid out his vision of an interconnected world built around the Internet. Based on the premise that life will be transformed by the convergence of inexpensive computing and inexpensive communications, Gates drew from his experience at the center of the personal computer revolution to give insights on the growth, evolution and impact of technology. I had always looked up to Bill Gates as my idol. When I read this book, it made me more focussed on Microsoft and Internet, The Internet was one of the upcoming things in this time. Re: How many mambers of this forum are also member of WF? - Hi Kevin, I have to agree with Tanny. All forums are unique in their own way, but doesn't mean that one is better than the other. What you might get out of one forum, you may not get from another. For instance, the WF focuses on Internet Marketing, while this forum focuses on Entrepreneurship. Each has their own set of benefits. I don't think you can really compare one to the other, unless of course they focused on the same topic. I have learned a lot from this forum, stuff I would never have gotten from the WF. With that being said, I've learned a lot from the WF, specifically since I need to know about Internet Marketing and running an online business. The addition of the Online Business forum here will help, and Jeff is doing a great job as moderator.
