Every MLM person has been in lead deprivation at one point or another. You can buck the traditional methods of chasing people down, and attract people to you, and set yourself up as a leader in the process. There are a few simple steps that you can follow.
Your first step is to determine your purpose for generating these leads. It can be your opportunity, blog, or newsletter. You will need to design a website hub that has a lead capture page relevant to your offer. You will offer free information in exchange for your prospects information.
Your capture page should always be about you. I put my own website together and offer to do the same for my team members.
Never use a lead capture page from your MLM company. They don't work for several reasons, it promotes your company, not you. You want to position yourself as a leader. The second reason is that you usually don't have control over your list, and the messages that are sent.
Once your page is set up with an opt in form, your leads will be directed to the information they are looking for. You will then have them on your list and can provide them with value. People join people who are leaders because of who they are, not what they sell.
Once you have your site up, you will decide which marketing or advertising method you want to use. You could use article marketing, press releases, google pay per click, banner advertising, or Video Marketing to name a few. We use all of them, and show our team members how to do exactly the same.
Your ads will contain a link to your website that you will drive traffic to. As your ads run, traffic flows and your leads will start rolling in.
As your leads come in, they are added to your email auto responder system. This is when you will have the opportunity to convert your leads into fans, and then convert them into lifetime customers.
You do this by building a solid relationship with your list. You treat them as a valued friend, as if they walked through your front door. You provide valuable content, and information they really want to know about. They will begin to call you, instead of you chasing them down like a stalker.
You want to track and measure where your traffic is coming from, and optimize the sources that are paying off. You want to kill any efforts that are not converting into sales.
Make sure that you are attentive to your list and provide them with value. If you give them the best quality content, they will learn to know what you are all about and trust you.
This process can be repeated as long as you are in business. It is a simple way to become the hunted, and finally ditch lead deprivation for good.
We never call people unless they ask us to call them. We speak to those who are ready to join our business. We don't cold call people, ask them to come to a home party, or even talk to our family and friends. Leads come to u
