You have it all, and you are still not living.

Are you one of those people who worked extremely hard by going to college? You get that education so you can get that high paying job so you can live the good life? Then, in that good life, somewhere along the way, you didn't get to make the decisions for yourself anymore?

Did your job or work take over? Did your boss give high pressure requests that required extra time? Did you spend years working off debt you racked up in college? Is the good life fun? Or are you really tired? What price are you paying for the good life?

Been there, done that. I did all of that in the past. I'm one of those people who isn't afraid of working. In fact, I am a really hard worker. All of that didn't give me the time freedom I wanted. I had other dreams besides my career.

I wanted to be a parent, I wanted to be the one that raised them. Sure a nanny for extra help would be nice once in a while, but to really raise them so I didn't miss them growing up. This kind of parenting is rare.

Have you considered the price you will pay if you don't reflect on your choices? You might think it is way too late. Or maybe you think you can't afford it because you already have the big house, and the fancy car.

There is something about being 40 that made me reflect and ask myself, "Is this really what I want? And will I have any regrets if I keep going this way?" The answer for me was no. I was not on track. Sure I could have settled, but all my dreams weren't coming to fruition.

So I stopped. Some people in my life might say I stopped quite abruptly. I say it just looked that way from the outside. You see if you really listen to your inner voice you will hear what you want very loud and clear. Your inner voice doesn't give up until it is heard which is good thing.

The benefit of being a hard worker, and someone who wants to achieve a certain level, is that they can do anything they set their mind to do. They just have to choose what that is for them. For my husband and me, we knew what wanted to travel, and work from anywhere in the world. That freedom was important to us. We set our mind on finding the solution.

After years of being nailed down to a brick and mortar traditional business, we knew we wanted another business model. We were intelligent people, and we could see other people making money on the internet, and we wanted that too.

After researching a recommended site, we jumped in head first, and have absolutely no regrets. The man on the site we visited became our business partner. We have learned how to be free and spend time the way want it. We didn't give up our dreams, we made them better. We clarified, and implemented our work into a new way of living.

This new way is so amazing that it doesn't feel like work. We laugh, spend time with our kids during the day, while other people are at work with the boss. We were really never 9-5 people, we did it in the past, but luckily we reached for better. Sometimes our friends can't believe that we are able to do this for a living. The smart ones of course, see for themselves.

Ultimately, you can decide for yourself. Your power is really never taken away. You can reclaim it. You can choose your destiny. You can reset your path. You can decide when you will be the boss. You can decide when you will see your kids. You decide which beach you want to work from. Remember, you only get one life.

We are a husband and wife team who were at the end of our rope. We had given up our six figure jobs to start a brick and mortar business and invested upwards of a quarter of a million dollars to end up with absolutely nothing at the end of a seven year push.

We had to pay off debts, and start over with virtually nothing to stand on. All we wanted was to work at home so we could raise our kids and work from anywhere in the world.

We searched for the answers on the internet. We found it! At first we were a bit skeptical and after doing our due diligence we realized that we had found an education platform that would allow us to learn, earn and turn our dreams into reality.

We ordered the system and went to work as it instructed. We had results immediately. It was simple, easy, and we could learn how to market anything, to anyone, anywhere in the world using the internet.

We haven't looked back. We have been extremely fortunate to find something that can educate us and set us up for life. We are passionate about sharing our knowledge with others who are looking for big changes in their life. Re: How Much Do You Need To Start? Re: How Much Do You Need To Start? - From reading the responses - it seems that we're getting two different types of replies. One is for people who are talking about starting a business and figuring in enough money to keep the every day living expenses paid while beginning to build the business and before revenue starts to come in. The other reply is from people who are talking about the amount that is needed only to start the business - no living expenses being included. If the person is starting a business part time, they probably won't need to consider what it takes to live. But, if the person is considering starting a new venture fulltime, they need to also consider what they will need to live. I lived at home with my parents when I started my business and they covered my living expenses, but not everyone has that luxury. Chris
Re: Are we defined by what we do for a living? Re: Are we defined by what we do for a living? - [quote="Kevin":2yyx2pw3]I'd like to ask who are you as an individual? Are you defined by what you do for a living?[/quote:2yyx2pw3] People generally define themselves by what they do for example when introducing themselves they will state their name and then say something like I am an accountant or teacher but that is merely your profession not WHO you are. I guess we all tend to do that but we are usually far more than just what we do for a living. MichelleJ
Problem with networking events Problem with networking events - Another benefit for shy people who use the internet to promote is that it's also much easier to build rapport and genuine relationships. For instance, it's a more effective way to reach the largest audience possible by simply participating in a forum like this, than to walk around at an in-person networking or social event and ask superficial questions like "So what do you do for a living?" Most of the people who attend business/networking events are usually only there to sell something rather than buy. They ONLY care about what you do for a living IF you can help him/her out and then you're stuck in a room full of people competing for talk time as SageMediaDesign pointed out.
