With all the people getting online and clicking away everyday, it is no wonder why Google Adsense has become an instant hit. For some who are just new to this market working at home, it would be a blow to their pride knowing that their homepage is buried somewhere in the little ads promoting other people's services. But then, when they get the idea that they are actually earning more money that way, all doubts and skepticism is laid to rest.
There are two major, and clever, factors that some successful webmaster and publishers are learning to blend together in order to make money easier using Adsense.
1. Targeting high traffic pages on your website. Adsense question...Evan? Anybody?
- Many people contribute to my various webzines because I promise them renumeration in the form of revenue from anyone who clicks on the Google Adsense ads on the pages where their articles appear.
I've been doing this by creating a separate channel for each contributor, so I can keep track of each person's income, and it works fine.
What I'd like to do for a new project, however, is have my contributors give me the code for [i:2vwhwtl0]their [/i:2vwhwtl0]Google Adsense account, so that when they check their account, the clicks show up there and the money goes immediately into their account. This way they *know* what they're getting, and don't have to take me on trust. And it also saves time, moneywise, of course, since they get it right away instead of waiting for me to disburse it every 3 months or so.
So my question is, would it violate Google Adsense guidelines for me to have other people's AdSense codes on my site?
Evan, I know you've done something like this, where we get a *percentage* of any clicks on threads we started (and I've gotten a wee bit, by the way) ... did you work a special deal with Google or is it something they allow with no fuss?
I hate reading small print, which is why I'm asking here instead of trying to read Google's TOS...

- One of the advantages of having a blogger blog is a fast approval for adsense.
If you want to start earning with Google Adsense open a new blog and add Adsense to it and get approved immediately.

Do you find that you earn a higher CPM when you replace Google Adsense with 3rd party advertising? Or do you find that Google Adsense still provides more revenue?
Do you have any advice for website owners (myself included) on what level of traffic a company needs to pull in to attract 3rd party advertisers? Also, have you had any success on selling your advertising space to 3rd party companies who handle the sales for you?

- Most of my traffic, around 80%, comes from Google for my niche site. The clicks are decent, but the EPC is terrible. I never started the site hoping to make it big with Adsense anyway. I promote various Clickbank products and CPA ads and have already made two sales through Clickbank. To me, that's a much better alternative rather than focusing purely on Adsense.
I also picked up an advertiser for the site, just out of the blue. I'll make much more from selling ad space versus Adsense. It's a hot niche, but for some reason the Adsense ads just don't bring in much. Traffic is very good, so for anyone else that might be in a similar situation, I recommend finding targeted products you can sell through Clickbank or another affiliate network. Also try to find third party advertisers if possible.

I guess you can start with free option - Using Google Search. You can find it in your Google Adsense account.
If you have the budget you can post on different forums and ask people for help.
