How To Write An Article

If you are new to Internet Marketing then I am pretty sure you will have wondered how to write an article. This is a perfectly natural reaction as writing an article on any subject is not something most people have to do in there everyday lives so it doesn’t come naturally.

I am going to give you a few tips which I hope will help you to get started which I have placed into four categories. Keywords, Relevancy, Acceptability and Content.

KEYWORDS

Go to Google Adwords site and type in a word or phrase about the subject of your article and in the left hand column select exact match and not broad. This will show you how many people have searched for your phrase in the last month and how much competition you have. The less competition you have the more chance your article will rank highly on the Google results page and that is more traffic for you which is more sales.

RELEVENCY

As an Internet Marketer you must always link keywords to your niche otherwise you are wasting your time. You are looking to get the attention of people who are searching the e Internet for what you are offering. There is no point in writing a beautiful article which is not targeted to the people you are looking for. I did a search on Adwords for ‘How To Write An Article’ which has a high search count but low competition—perfect. This may be how you may have found this article which confirms that it works.

ACCEPTABILITY

With Good Business Ideas or in fact even with the Best Home Business Ideas, any Internet Marketer must always abide by the rules to create an honest presence and protect your reputation. This means that you must never copy or plagiarise another person’s article without their permission. If you intend to submit your article to directories then they must be originals and all your own work. The value of your article is the resource box beneath your article where you can place a backlink to your website.

CONTENT

The content is important as it must be both informative and helpful, be yourself and write as though you were telling a friend about your business. Look out for ideas that relate to the product or services that you are offering and the article can be anything from 250-500 words long with article directories usually requiring 400 or above. If your article gives value and encourages your reader to visit your website then that will enhance your reputation. If you visitor only reads your article without visiting your website then they may well bookmark you for future visits so your article can be valuable in many ways.

Here it is: Write the blog post / article you were born to write. Write something that you can pour your heart and all your passion into. Write something where you can change the life of the person reading it. Write something where if you look back in 10 years you'll be really proud of what you created. Can you do that? I'd love to read it (and I bet a lot of others will too!)

Re: Do Articles For Businesswomen need to be written differently Re: Do Articles For Businesswomen need to be written differently - I don't think that as a general rule an article [i:11csddi3]needs[/i:11csddi3] to be written "for women." In my opinion, the two important writing rules are: 1) Write for your targeted audience. If it happens to be predominantly women or predominantly men, then write accordingly (if you have the ability to make that distinction in your writing). 2) Write in your own voice. Be natural. If you are a serious writer, your style will become apparent over time and you will develop a following. It may happen that your style is more attractive to one sex or the other. If so, you may be able to advance your writing career by further cultivating your sensitivity within that style. Bottom line: I do believe that certain styles appeal to women, certain styles appeal to men and if you know the distinction, have the ability to write in a particular style and choose to target one sex or the other, then go for it. But I don't think that it is a necessity in today's market. GT :-]
4 Ideas for Viral Marketing 4 Ideas for Viral Marketing - 1. Purchase the branding rights to a viral E-book. Allow people to give away your free E-book to their visitors. Then, their visitors will also give it away. This will just continue to spread your ad all over the Internet. 2. If you have the ability to set up a forum or other bulletin board, you really have a great tool. Allow people to use your online discussion board for their own website. Some people don't have one. Just include your banner ad at the top of the board. 3. Write an E-book. Allow people to place an advertisement in your free E-book if, in exchange, they give away the E-book to their web visitors or E-zine subscribers. 4. Write articles that pertain to your product or service. Allow people to reprint your articles on their website, in their E-zine, newsletter, magazine or E-books. Include your resource box and the option for article reprints at the bottom of each article.
