In all forms of generating traffic to websites for whatever type of Online Marketing it may be. It's success or lack of success will be decided by good solid Keyword Research. I will go so far as to say this should be a priority in your marketing ritual. Everything that we do in Online Marketing whatever the type MLM, Direct Marketing, Internet Marketing or Affiliate Marketing it is all constructed from Keyword Research.

I just went to Adwords Google.com/select/Keyword Tool External and did a search on my website and there was 22 keyword groups and 200 keywords used on a single website. And Web Designers and SEO Experts build these websites from extensive Keyword Research to give the website the pulling power to attract the search engine spiders to give the website a good ranking coupled with some quality content to further boost the sites pulling power.

Your energy effort and your money are all riding on the quality of your Keyword Research.

When you put together your PPC campaign and you have researched the keyword that this campaign is built on its intent is to be a valid keyword that is being search by people who have decided to buy and just need someone to buy it from. Whatever might be the goods or services that they desire to purchase. So there is just another example of just how critical of a role Keyword Research is the Pulse of all Online Marketing plays in you selling online.

This is your bread and butter and let there be no doubt about it Online Marketing is a print driven medium we use tons of written content and all of it is keyword based so knowing the Keywords that your customers are searching for when they decide to buy is what this is all about it is why we are in business. In the first place to do solid keyword research for our content whether it be website content, blog post, articles, videos of press releases. If it goes on the Internet it needs to be tagged and those are keywords. So you can't take a bunch from random keywords put them in a hat cover your eyes and hope to pull out a keyword that will land your content on the first page of Google.com. It won't happen that way you have to find the keywords that the people looking to buy your goods or services are typing in when they get ready to buy your stuff. Keyword Research is finding the money words that the people in your market or niche are typing in when they are ready to buy.

Forum Marketing Yahoo Answers (I need to use more of) SEO (Search Engine Optimization) Bum Marketing or Article marketing P-P-C (Pay Per Click) Marketing Online Directories Hope this helps.

Those are all just "internet marketing" as far as I am concerned. And I normally would have voted for internet marketing, however I chose social media marketing simply because there are more than enough IM forums out there already.
