Press releases are a great way to generate free leads for any business, especially network marketing. A press release is similar to a news story you see in your local newspaper or the national press. Many distribution sites offer a free distribution as well as paid distributions that target a much larger audience. The difference between a press release and an article is a press release announces a specific event or occurrence such as the opening of your new business or conference your company is holding.
Before writing your release you need to determine who your target audience is, what keywords you want to use, choose a headline, write your release and finally distribute it to the distribution site of your choice. One step many people over look is choosing your keywords. The keywords you choose are the core of the release and as you write your release it should focus on the keywords you chose. Keyword research is crucial especially in the network marketing industry. Network marketing is a rapidly growing sector in the home business industry and without the proper keyword research your release may never make it to the audience you desire.
Your release will show up in the search engines for the specific keywords you choose. A well written press release with relevant keywords will move up in the rankings as more people read your release. Once your press release moves up in the rankings it will be visible to more people and will drive more traffic to your site.
Press releases can bring high quality traffic to your site and most of the time; the people reading your press release already know they what they want. This is why keyword research is so important because you want high quality prospects reading your press release and not someone else's. These prospects are doing their own research before they make a decision on which opportunity is the best fit for them.
