How To Make The Most of Your Internet Marketing PPC Campaign

What do you want to do, lose $5,000 next month or make $5,000 next month? In the next few minutes I’m going to give you a crash course to make the most of your internet marketing PPC campaign.

Let’s get one thing straight right from the beginning. If you don’t understand, or haven’t run a small PPC campaign, it would be wise to get an education and learn the ropes before moving forward.

There is no other advertising medium that is as powerful as a fine tuned PPC campaign! That’s a fact. In the past a successful marketer would have to spend weeks or months testing ads, copy, offers and conversions before they would find a winning competition. Sometimes just the amount of time would put some people out of business due to the low returns and ongoing expenses.

PPC has changed all of that! You can run a campaign and test it in a matter of days.

Rule #1…Get Focused! You have to know your plan prior to going into war. If you change course half way through you will never get to your end results and the casualties will be catastrophic. This is probably the biggest issue with new marketers. They find a keyword or keyword phrase and stick with it for a few days until they abandon it completely. This is no way to get the results you are after.

You must work diligently and consistently with your chosen Keyword or Keyword phrases. Now, for the sake of this article, I’m going to assume you have done extensive Keyword research and you are competing in an area you know you can win. All good marketers will have extensive Keyword lists, however, they also have just a few that they have found that….

EUREKA moment!!

This is when the game completely changes and your internet marketing PPC campaign is more like an ATM that continues to spit money at you! However, if you’re going into this blind, have done no research and are just going to “throw mud against the wall” to see what sticks, you are going to be the one I mentioned earlier who loses $5,000 next month.

Internet Marketing PPC campaigns are a science. Nobody ever gets lucky; they have simply put the correct pieces of the equation together. This is just like any other game; you must understand the rules before you can become a master. However, when you become a master, you control your own destiny and the number of zeros in your bank account.

Get prepared for PPC domination. Get focused, get clear and make the most of your internet marketing PPC campaign. There’s no better feeling than KNOWING you’re marketing efforts will pay off. I hope this helps you on your Journey. Until Next time, Happy Marketing!

Re: Kevin's Case Study #11 - A New Forum Category? Re: Kevin's Case Study #11 - A New Forum Category? - Hi Kevin, Like GT suggested, I also think you can add Internet Marketing as a sub category in the Marketing section and also a Social marketing as subcategory. Online marketing/internet marketing/online promotion are the same, and it will be best to use the common term - Internet marketing. I can't think about someone to moderate a Social Marketing category. We all use it, we all know how to make it work and we all have our own different experience with it.
Do what i did Do what i did - I had the same dilemma. My solution? I started my own marketing firm! No, in all reality, even if you have a degree in Marketing, you will have to take crappy entry-level jobs to get your foot in the door. Make the most of them by taking on extra tasks that will give you skills that will improve your resume. It's a slow process, but if you can get just one job in Marketing, you're on your way!
Internet Marketing Conference on SLife Internet Marketing Conference on SLife - I've been trying to log in but it keeps crashing.. anyways.. a friend of mine in BC plans on holding Internet Marketing Conferences on SecondLife and have the same top internet marketers that would normally be in Live Internet Marketing conference speak. Income will be generated from admission charges, product sales during breaks, sponsor tables, etc etc.. Just to get the ideas flowing in your head that anything you can do in the real world can be replicated in SL. There is no planned date as of yet for this conference.

Re: Hi from a Manhattan coach Re: Hi from a Manhattan coach - Hi Julie, Welcome to the forum, it's great to have you here and thank you for telling us a little about yourself. You sound like a very enthusiastic person who likes what she does and in Internet Marketing that is very important and you also sound like a 'people person' which is great. Internet Marketing is time consuming and challenging but can also be extremely rewarding and hopefully profitable. I don't know how many forums you have signed up to but this is one of the best. The support and guidance you get here is what makes it the success that it is but as I am sure you know from looking at the side bar that there are many aspects of business that are catered for here which will help you along the way, best wishes, Mal.
