Mindset is the First Step in Creating a Successful Business

With Britain's personal debt increasing by £1m every 4 minutes, thousands of people are looking for help in reducing this debt and eventually paying the debt off! There are many options out there, some more favorable than other - loans, remortgage, debt consolidation, declaring yourself bankrupt, selling off belonging, and earning an extra income! I am no expert on finance however if you want help on how to earn an extra income I can certainly help here! The internet is a fantastic tool used by millions for many different reasons; research, socialising, shopping and working are just some of the many uses that the internet provides. Many people try to make money through the internet, the truth is most spend more on advertising than they actually make, which simple adds to the debt they have already accumulated!

Many people have tried to start an online business, a lot have failed however there are also a large number of people who has made a success of their online business, creating financial freedom and changing their lifestyle at the same time. So what is the difference between the successful and those that fail? Experience? Knowledge? Capital? I can confidently and happily tell you that it is none of the before mentioned, the real difference is a willingness to learn, share their success and above all their mindset!

Running an online business is not a job, you do not get a guaranteed income each month regardless of performance, you do however have the ability to determine how much money you receive each month, as it is what you do with your business that dictates how much money you make! I mentioned earlier that mindset is key to success............if your employer told you that you could earn $10,000 a month if you converted X amount of leads you'd do all within your power to meet these targets right? So what's the difference with an online business that generates you $10,000 for X amount of converted leads? MINDSET!

If you learn only one thing today let it be that to be successful in business you first need to have the right mindset, otherwise you'll be wondering why in 6 months time you're spending more on advertising your business than you are actually making in profit!

Re: Your choice between... Re: Your choice between... - I will take the $100,000 and double it on it becomes millions before I spend it. Though I am crazy about information, yet I would rather take the money and turn it into a million before I spend a dime out of it. I will do it in 4 steps. Step 1 turn $100,000 to $200,000 Step 2 turn $200,000 to $400,000 Step 3 turn $400,000 to $800,000 Step 4 turn $800,000 to $1600,000. After getting the goal of step 4, I will spend the $600,000 on myself then continue to double the millions again. I could then by the book for $1,000,000
Step by step approach Step by step approach - Here's what I would do; Step 1 - Observe Wal-Mart’s target customers, what does Wal-Mart offer them? How long do they stay? Discover what it is that they might want or need that Wal-Mart doesn't offer, and then write those ideas down. Some ideas to get you started are - A cafe or fast food venue, something for the kids to do while the parents shop, etc Step 2 - Take that list, and weigh up the pros and cons of each idea, and then select the best one for you. Don't worry about not using all the space. Step 3 - Start the best business for you, and then release the other ideas to the general market and sublet the rest of the space to those who could fill some of the niches you've come up with, plus any they can come up with. If money isn't a factor then developing the building to suit multiple small leases may be a better option, as it's a diversified income, which is potentially more stable than one big income stream.
Books for Women Entrepreneurs Books for Women Entrepreneurs - There's a thread for good books in the Resources folder, but it doesn't target books for businesswomen particularly, so I figured I'd start such a thread here. It doesn't matter how successful you are in your business - it's always possible to learn something new.
