7 Reasons to Start a Home Based Business

There are 7 reasons why you need to start a home based business and I will tell you that working for yourself is the key to financial stability.

Who or what company is going to insure that you will have financial stability (1) throughout your lifetime? This is not something corporate companies think about when they hire you, they think of how much money can you make them. Financial freedom relaxes our state of mind, gives us the willpower to work harder. It gives you the ability to plan for your future, whether you want to travel, buy material things or just be happy knowing that you control your bank account. Your net worth means more to you than anyone who pays you a salary by determining that for you.

Freedom of time (2) is most important to people who juggle many things in life. It is nice knowing that when you need to plan for a doctors appointment, you don't need to get permission to do so. The feeling of planning a vacation and leaving any day, time or night without checking with other employees to see if you are taking the same time off they also need.

When taking the first steps out of corporate America into entrepreneurship, you have the ability to make 250K the first year (3) depending on how far you want to go with your new business. You are in power of your own destiny, you have the option of giving yourself a raise without a review, paper work, analytical reasons that a boss always has about not wanting to give you the raise, since it comes out of his own pocket. They are going to make you feel that you are not a top performer and that you can do better with less. I know, I have been there and it is exhausting.

Once the decision is made to move forward as being your own boss, think about all the time with your family (4) that you will have. You won't have to miss rehearsals, practices, field trips and being home when they are. You and your family will be so happy that you are there for them anytime.

Starting a home based business allows you to control your own net worth (5). You can work as hard or as little depending on your own personal goals. It does not matter how much time you put into your business but how much quality of work you do, that may take two hours or 10 hours, you make that decision.

Has anyone ever told you that working in a cubical is not much different from being in a prison cell for nine to ten hours a day (6)? Imagine having your office anywhere you want whether it is in your home, pool yard or sitting by the ocean. What a great feeling to be so flexible when it comes to where you do business.

The last thing that is most valuable to you is your own job security (7), especially in a time that everyone is being laid off or terminated from a job they have been doing for years. What a great thing to have is the knowing that you are secure in your mind and body and that no one or company can take that away.

Best Wishes.
