Home Based Business & My Story I

Hi, My name is Wade Bradshaw, this is a quick read up on some beginner concerns with a home based business that i had starting out and whats important to those just starting. What are some of the worries about starting a home based business? Well, Take a few minutes and let me share my story when i started my home business not to many months ago.

I was up one night doing research on home based business when i ran across one that caught my eye. Myself(having experience with MLM) and much like you, thought the obvious. Its a scam, or some kind of scheme which trails along behind many home business opportunities found online.

After I hit the web searching for anything and everything negative i could on this home business. I realized one thing, every single site, video, blog, or ad i found that had some kind of negativity was also trying to push along there product. Which led me to believe that there was not any non bias negativity towards the business i had selected. This in itself made a huge difference in the way i felt. By that, find a company and do a quick search on reviews. After a few reviews come up read them in their entirety. 9 times out of 10 if it has a negative review or title you can bet it has a bias author. Go out and look into all the adds and businesses out there. Take each one and research it. One key to remember is this. Once you find someone showing negativity towards a program or business, look and see what their selling. People selling their own product will have an extreme bias opinion towards the competition. Keep an eye out for "its a scam" or "read this before joining". If your looking for something negative, find the people who have nothing to gain other then a honest warning.

One of the tricks is to find a business that fits you. For example, cold calling is the reason i got out of marketing the first time. This time around i looked for a company that eliminated calling out rite. In doing that i took away one of the major hurdles on my track to success. That pressured me to learn alternative strategies which only aids in your personal marketing knowledge. If you are blessed with a golden tongue and excel at selling over the phone then by all means take that approach. The majority of home based businesses out there require calling leads.

I have in the past tried a few different MLM style companies that fit the stereotypical online marketing system. The promise of huge income within hours of starting. For those of you who would believe that i wish the best of luck. Go into whatever you choose with the right mind set. Know that chances are your not going to get rich in a week. However, with dedication and perseverance the sky truly is the limit.

These concerns are only of few of the ones I will be addressing in later articles, I know lots of you are researching home businesses. Which i strongly believe in doing. Do lots and lots of research, check around, weigh the pro's vs cons. Marketing is hard work, if it was easy everyone would be doing it. You have to motivate yourself and know in your heart you were meant for something better. One of the biggest mistakes is letting yourself be comfortably miserable. Don't let yourself settle for average.
