How to Attract Others Without Even Trying, and Get Them to Stay!

Depending on the situation, attracting others or their attention may be good or bad. Some times we may prefer to remain anonymous, but for our purposes here it's all good.

To attract or not to attract is not a profitable option for the network marketer.

So, why are some people attractive and others are not?

First of all we're not speaking of a physical attraction necessarily. That is irrelevant for our purposes.

The attraction we are discussing is that invisible "something" that draws people together.

Here is a common example. You go into a hardware store with a problem. Let's say you have a plumbing problem at home.

As you look around the store you see a young teenager stocking shelves. He has some type of gadget in his ear and appears to be wandering in another world.

Farther down the row of shelves you see an older gentleman.

He is very focused. He moves and speaks with confidence. He is obviously on a mission and knows what he is doing.

Now who are you attracted to? Who "looks" like they could probably help you best?

There's nothing wrong with being young, but the older gentleman has the "appearance" of experience and knowledge. You are attracted to this person because you believe they can help you.

It's just that simple.

Now attraction is one thing. Delivering the goods is something else.

A few minutes conversation with the gentlemen concerning your problem, he tells you what you need to do and how to do it, and you're on your way.

You're happy. He's happy, and you will probably be back!

If you want to attract others you will have to create an impression of value. Others must perceive you as a person who has value and can help them with their problems.

Another situation goes something like this. You're a network marketer and you are constantly bombarded by self proclaimed experts and "gurus".

Their self branding is on steroids and their "pitch" is a total turnoff!

Somehow "attraction" has gotten mixed up with "attaching". You stop for a moment and you can't get away!

Maybe, just maybe, you will stay long enough to find some value, but I doubt it.

A real, quick, little "attraction" check-up for us all:

• Do I have and convey a sense of self worth that is attractive to others?
• Do I have any tangible worth (value) to give to others?

If not, why not?

Begin today!

Begin with your own mindset; your sense of self worth. Continue with education, education, education. It's not hard to find the resources.

Our worth, our value, is our only "real" attraction.
