In this article, I am going to offer you what you will need to scale through the initial challenges namely: positive mindsets, social networking, initial customers, time management and resource. Positive mindset: Your decision to go this path denotes that you have an innate potential to be an entrepreneur and a leader. 99% of the population differs from you and that's why majority are comfortable with 9am-5pm jobs. However, potential for success is only part of the ingredient and does not guarantee the outcome. Therefore, you have to mentally support this step in the right direction with unconditional positive mindset. If you honestly belief in your mind that it is realistic and you have, or could have, all that is required, then it is within your reach, it is only a matter of when or how long.

Social network: The popular saying applies at this stage: "Show me your friend and I will tell you who you are". As said earlier, only 1/100 people have the courage to thread your new chosen path. Therefore, tentatively speaking, the rest of your current circle of friends including your family members sharply contrasts with you in respect to this quality. Currently, your income and your net asset is within the average of this circle of friends as birds of same feathers flock together; that is why you are friends.

Consequently, continuously surrounding yourself with these negative influences, on daily basis, would only derail your path. You need to juxtapose building your marketing system with cultivating new lines of social network and support system. A feeling of guilt might occur here, but this is just one of little sacrifices, if you must remain focused and realized your goal. More so, you will still reconnect with your old friend at appropriate time; your success would ensure their understanding.

Initial customers: The owner of newly opened McDonald outlet would benefit from initial patronage of friends and family, he needs them to start off. However, for internet marketing, same might be suicidal unless you are in a pyramid business which is temporal, rip off and illegal. Your close associates patronage of your business can never make you realized the kind of success that you seek in this industry and that is why you employ internet medium to reach your target customer beyond families and countries borders. Billions of people browse the webs daily and your market efforts should be directed toward these active potential customers instead of risking derailment of your ambition with soliciting your associate's patronage. If feasible, keep your new venture from their knowledge.

Time management: Do not be deceived by the flyers: "easy money without efforts". Your reward is proportionately ties to your inputs. Therefore, even though you now have greater leverage with time, for your family and personal enjoyment, nonetheless you can not gain anything meaningful in this industry without a meticulous time management. Without an advance time stipulation for a task, you stand the risk of spending 2hrs for 20 minutes tasks. In this context, what I have found useful is to make a monthly/30days plan that I labeled Time Budget. In addition, before turning off the night lamp to sleep; I write out three things to be done in the morning with another two added first thing on waking up.

Resources: Getting free useful information in this business is almost impossible as you might even get billed for the air that you breathe. If you are a freelancer without affiliation to a reputable marketing company or do not have a back office support system such as I have in place, though I will strongly advise that you join one, then your best resources is the Google search engine. This information might sound meager, but I can't tell you exactly how many tons of emails that we received daily from people at lost and frustrated over "How" questions. For example, if you are new to twitter; you will get thousands of helpful resources by typing "How to tweet" on the Google search engine than stressing yourself learning same on twitter's website.

Finally, do not get discouraged. Remember that the ancient Rome was not built in a day. The captivating beauty of Rome that is still enchanting today in attracting millions of tourist to the ancient kingdom resulted from years of persistency and endurance. Start building or expanding your social network and support system with people that share your ambition. Keep surrounding yourself with positive mindsets and you will surely achieve your goal.
