Self Employment Using The Internet
"Walking 100 miles begins with the first step: The first 2-3 feet followed by the next. So on and so on. As long as one keeps taking steps on a consistent basis, one will arrive at ones destination".
How does one achieve financial independence and still maintain peace of mind? The simplest answer that I can think of is to find someone or group of people that have already done so and do what they do. Find a model of success and duplicate it.
This is exactly what I am doing. I will be documenting my journey towards my goal of financial independence by writing a series of articles about my experience.
I found a successful model about four weeks ago. I clicked on an add next to a web e-mail message that I had received. That little click of a mouse turned out to be the opening of a new door for me which I have since gone through.
I have already been self employed most of my life. I understand and have felt all the advantages and even the disadvantages of the self employment choice of earning ones income. I can only keep my peace of mind by being self employed. That I know for sure! That click of the mouse led me to a community of self employed entrepreneurs. They are all doing business using the internet. They are achieving income levels that would be much more than enough for my own financial freedom requirements. Of course I was skeptical at first. But there was something inside me, an inspiration I would say to keep on going and look further. What if this is real? That was four weeks ago. Today I am here to say that this community of people is very much for real. They are genuine and very sincere. They have showed me a system to follow. I made a commitment. I now have a successful model to use that will take me to where I want to go financially. The roadway is over the internet. The largest and most abundant resource on our planet today.
I'm on my journey to financial independence. That happens to be a rather large number for me. I'm taking each step 2-3 feet at time. Each day I get a little closer.
I have also started my own web site where one can visit the community and see who is guiding me on my financial freedom journey. If your mouse takes you there, you never know, you too might find yourself passing through the same door on to the other side on your own financial freedom quest? Thanks for your time. I was inspired by Mr. Bill Gates ever since I was a student learning Computers. But I was motivated for Internet as my Business, when I read his book "The Road Ahead" in 1995. It was in this book that Gates laid out his vision of an interconnected world built around the Internet.
Based on the premise that life will be transformed by the convergence of inexpensive computing and inexpensive communications, Gates drew from his experience at the center of the personal computer revolution to give insights on the growth, evolution and impact of technology.
I had always looked up to Bill Gates as my idol. When I read this book, it made me more focussed on Microsoft and Internet, The Internet was one of the upcoming things in this time. So I took over to the Internet as my primary business.

I have to admit that I do enjoy TV but mostly for sport or educational programs. However, I can honestly say that since I went on the Internet, it has changed my life forever like it has for everyone around the world.
When I say it has changed my life, I don't mean it in a soppy way but just in everyday things like research, booking a holiday, shopping, renewing tax or driving license etc, all of which you can do online and that is before my Internet activities. Therefore I have to say in answer to the question, I would miss the TV but I would miss the Internet much more.

Yes I think it is only natural that the recession affects all businesses and the Internet is not immune to this.
Hopefully enough people will see that the Internet is a way to make money and to offset the problems they are having so we all have to remain positive,

- I considered looking at the WSI model before starting my business. I think anything Internet related is going to be hot - everyone needs to get their website ranked highly and most entrepreneurs don't know what to do to about it.
WSI is the biggest Internet optimization franchise but I found them to be too expensive.
