Efficiently Utilize Your Time

Today men and women are struggling with the daily tasks of managing work, children, errands, school activities, appointments, and whatever else may come up in the course of a day. Unfortunately, no matter how much we try to do in a 24 hr period, the fact is, there are only 24 hrs in a day and it isn't always possible to complete everything we need or want to do within that timeframe.

Organization and time management take practice and skill to get the most out of every minute of the day. Even the most successful men and women have difficulty organizing their time. However, with practice almost anyone can reorganize their lives to fit it all of the important tasks that need to be taken care of. Here are a few tips on how to better manage your time. Implement these and you will be surprised at how much you can accomplish.

Keep Notes: Have a notebook or calendar with you at all times. This way you can keep track of the day and the tasks that need to be accomplished or completed. A notebook or calendar is a very valuable tool help you keep your day organized and planned.

Create a to-do list: This is a great way to stay on track throughout the day. As you complete something, cross it off and move on to the next one. This a great way to stay organized. Writing jobs the previous night will also give you a head start in the morning.

Decide on jobs that will have a positive impact and if possible do that job first. When the response has been good and encouraging, you will go to the next and all other jobs with the same positive attitude.

Delegate or assign: There are some jobs that can be assigned to another. Choose those capable, understand and are on the same wave length as you. The assignment may take communication while working. Make judgment and ensure that the job is completed on the required date and work along side others to complete it. We need to be able to delegate and work with others.

Prioritize: Prioritizing is important. You need to understand limitations, time, effort, skill, capability and finances. Good time management is important to our daily life and to every job or project assigned to us. It is the only way to complete it successfully. And have time for other personal activities and enjoyment.

Set deadlines: Set deadlines for every job and ensure that it is completed before the set time. Completing the job at the set time is important. When there are no deadlines productivity is low. This is an effective way to accomplish more in less time.

By implementing the above strategies to help you manage your time, you will be surprised at how much you will accomplish during the day. You will feel less stressed and more organized. Remember though, it takes some practice.

Re: Advice needed to earn money online!!!! Re: Advice needed to earn money online!!!! - Hi there. You should really specify first on what business you are on online since there are a lot of types especially if you are free lancing. But here are some tips that I know of if you are running a website: Utilize PPC or pay per click programs like Google ads or Chitika. This gives you traffic and even more revenue. If you are a blogger, regularly updating your blog helps all the time. Posting helpful articles can increase your traffic. If you are just planning to go to business online, then you can be a blogger, someone on e-commerce, someone for consulting, or on affliate marketing. In fact there are a lot of variety to choose from.
Books that should be written Books that should be written - [quote:1m0dcpd7]"The Idiots Guide To Sticking With One Thing At A Time and Not Doing Something New All The Time" [/quote:1m0dcpd7] I myself am a 'constructive' procrastinator... I don't know if I'm alone in this. I have about six or seven projects I'm working on at any given time. I get one project almost done... then my interest is piqued by another project and I work on that... I get burnt out and move to another...I know I do this so I have it arranged such that once I get bored or burnt out with one project, I can step right back into project 1 - or 2 or 3, and get that a little bit more done before moving on to something else. As long as you're organized and know where all your reference material/idea sheets are when you're ready to get back to work on each project, it should be fine. I also find that by stepping away from a project - I still work on it in the recesses of my mind so that when I go back to it - it's with some good ideas that I wouldn't have had if I'd continued on with it originally. Maybe I should write a book on how to Procrastinate Constructively... I've actually thought about doing that...because most people procrastinate, don't they...and very few are ever able to stop.
