Positive Attitude Mandatory for Successful Internet Marketing Business
Having a positive attitude is mandatory for successful internet marketing business people. We are bombarded by so many negative influences in our lives which can hurt our chances of business success more than another hurricane in New Orleans. If we are not cautious, we may be out of the internet prosperity circle before we have even had a chance to step into this lucrative society. I honestly feel that those of us who have obtained what others have not in online marketing are not any smarter, stronger, faster, or wiser than others. The quality that stands out in those marketers who are at a good place financially is a stellar attitude. These are the types of people who are not swayed by the negative comments of family members. It makes no sense to pay attention to the comments of those family members who may not feel that making money online is even possible. Taking advice from those who have never earned even one penny online is the equivalent of going to a 2 year old child for stock market advice. I do not mean that you should not respect your family and treat them with the utmost love and admiration. It is simply a smart decision to listen to work from home entrepreneurs who have been to the internet marketing mountaintop, and can show you how to get to the same exact location.
One key that will unlock the door to home business success is the training of your thoughts. Pay attention to what you think about during the course of your day and night. If that thought is negative, do not let the things that are in your mind come out of your mouth. Once the words in your mind emerge from your mouth, you are fighting a losing battle. However, if you master your thought life, you will find that your internet marketing daily activities will follow suit. Simply put, we are a product of the thoughts that are in our heads. If you have ever listened to the words of a negative person, you will find that those very words not only bring them down lower than our current economy, but also corrupts the good motives of all those who are around these people. These negative thoughts must be replaced with positive affirmations that will help you to train your mind.
Having a goal to prosper as a small business owner is an admirable task. We both know that we can achieve anything that others have already done in the past. The key to doing well lies in your own attitude. Your specific work from home company will do well if you train your thoughts, listen to those who have already made the mistakes you are trying to avoid, and replace your negative thoughts with a positive attitude mandatory for running an incredible online marketing business. Master your thoughts and your business will not be far behind.

- Hi Kevin,
I have to agree with Tanny. All forums are unique in their own way, but doesn't mean that one is better than the other. What you might get out of one forum, you may not get from another. For instance, the WF focuses on Internet Marketing, while this forum focuses on Entrepreneurship. Each has their own set of benefits. I don't think you can really compare one to the other, unless of course they focused on the same topic. I have learned a lot from this forum, stuff I would never have gotten from the WF. With that being said, I've learned a lot from the WF, specifically since I need to know about Internet Marketing and running an online business. The addition of the Online Business forum here will help, and Jeff is doing a great job as moderator.

- About 15 years ago I worked for this sales company that used to sell anything from Kitchen Knives to Dry Cell Torches. The owner was a very motivating guy and he would ask us to get to the office by 7.00AM and we could sing and dance for an hour before we went to sell the products in the streets, stopping anyone and telling them our products were on discount. We used to sell snow to Eskimos, why were we able to do that? because of PMA (Positive Mental Attitude). The key to cold calling is like beauty, in eyes of the beholder. If you have no PMA, you cannot sell. Remember the law of average that states that if you went to a dance and every girl or guy you approached for a dance decline your proposal. What do you do? Do you stop? If you have a PMA, you continue until you get one person who agree to dance with you despite how ugly you look, that is is PMA and that is the power of cold calling.

Like GT suggested, I also think you can add Internet Marketing as a sub category in the Marketing section and also a Social marketing as subcategory.
Online marketing/internet marketing/online promotion are the same, and it will be best to use the common term - Internet marketing.
I can't think about someone to moderate a Social Marketing category. We all use it, we all know how to make it work and we all have our own different experience with it.
Internet Marketing Conference on SLife
- I've been trying to log in but it keeps crashing.. anyways..
a friend of mine in BC plans on holding Internet Marketing Conferences on SecondLife and have the same top internet marketers that would normally be in Live Internet Marketing conference speak.
Income will be generated from admission charges, product sales during breaks, sponsor tables, etc etc..
Just to get the ideas flowing in your head that anything you can do in the real world can be replicated in SL.
There is no planned date as of yet for this conference.
