Analyzing the Character of Successful Entrepreneurs

Successful entrepreneurs tend to possess similar character traits. So what makes them so different from the rest of the 9-5 workforce population? Why are they so good at what they do? What has made them successful in life?

Here are some character traits which successful entrepreneurs tend to have in common:

Passion

They have passion for their chosen occupation or industry, and they don't see themselves doing anything else. They are motivated to succeed and determined to build a successful business. Passion is what drives them to carry out their plans and achieve their dreams.

Risk Takers

Fear is what stops most 9-5’ers from acting or taking the leap of face into the world of small business. Successful entrepreneurs are not afraid to take risks, calculated risks mind you. They are not distracted by fear, and nothing will stop them. They enjoy a challenge, and they are not afraid to risk everything they have, in order to win or to achieve the levels of desired results. They are driven by success. They see an opportunity to start a business, make money, and they go for it.

Persistent

They are go-getters and they never back down on their plans. When they make mistakes or fail at something, they keep moving. They always learn from their mistakes, and they keep on trying until they succeed. They never dwell on mistakes they have made in the past. They know that many times success comes after failure, and they do not take no for an answer. They are successful because they never give up on their goals and dreams.

Work Hard

Successful entrepreneurs know the value of hard work. They know that they need to make sacrifices, and work hard day after day. They put in the time and hard work to get the job done. They are productive, and they tend to get more done that other people.

Visualize Success

Successful people can see themselves achieving success, and they have a positive mind-set. They visualize their goals, and they know what they have to do in order to accomplish them. They are confident and driven by their desires. In short they meditate on their future, see themselves in that ‘spot’ and know why they are there.

Adapt to change

The business world is always changing. Successful people adapt to change very easily. They know that sometimes you have to change your plan or the way you do things, in order for their business to reach its full potential. They are flexible, and they never stop learning.

Strong Marketing Skills

Many entrepreneurs know that marketing is what brings them success. They know that they need customers in order for their business to flourish. They work hard to promote and advertise their business, and they never stop learning. They know that if they work hard at it, their business will grow, and they will be successful. They are always focusing on income producing activities whether it be direct marketing or networking with like minded individuals.

We can learn a lot from successful people and their character traits. Successful entrepreneurs are driven by success and determined to reach their goals. They never stop learning, and they work hard at what they do. They have the discipline to keep moving, and a love for what they do. They have a positive mind-set and they are proactive with everything they do. They are good leaders and multi-takers. In brief, they are successful at what they do because they possess these important qualities.

Re: Testing and Tracking Online Marketing Strategies Re: Testing and Tracking Online Marketing Strategies - Hi Jeff, Thanks for posting this. Analyzing is no problem and I do use Google and statcounter for this. I think I fail in the testing step. How do you test. Let's take TEs for example, .- When you promote a squeeze page, I can track the sign ups, but how long do you put it there? - I admit, sometimes I forget a page, and it take a few months before I replace it, how many clicks is a good performance? - Do you use the same page (different code) on several TEs or different pages at the same time? More of this to come...

CEOs and Email - Slaves? CEOs and Email - Slaves? - I wonder if the emails they are responding to are filtered thru their assistants first 'cos they seem to spend a lot of their off hours responding to them. True they are successful but I'm not sure I'd be willing to pay that price. I'd be interested to know what's the in the typical day planner of Entrepreneurs on the Forum. Entrepreneurs are a different breed than Paid Employees- so it would be interesting to view the contrast.

Fundraising for 3rd world Entrepreneurs Fundraising for 3rd world Entrepreneurs - How great to learn that Evan is doing something for Entrepreneurs in Africa! It just makes me even more thankful to be part of this forum! After helping create a new charity for animals in my local community last year, I created a vision for a charity empowering Women Entrepreneurs. It won't happen for a while yet, but I know it is something I will do within the next few years. As we allow ourselves to think bigger, the opportunity to impact people becomes much bigger as well. Does anyone else have a desire to really make a difference in the world through this means?
