Everyone Asks, “Is this a Work From Home ‘Opportunity’ or a ‘Work From Home Job?’”

You have come across so many ads for work from home opportunities or ways to make money. Is the one you are looking at a job or a work from home opportunity or a business you can start? What exactly is it? First, you need to know the difference between a job and a business opportunity. In a job, you are trading time for money and it is unlikely that you will find a real home job on the Internet. There are a few legitimate companies that will hire people to work from their homes, often you have to work at the company location for a long time to be fully trained and prove yourself before they will even consider letting you work from home. Are you looking for a job or a business you can run from home? If you are looking for a job, start sending out resumes and going on interviews. The “home jobs” you find on the Internet are typically scams. They take your money and leave you frustrated and discouraged. It may be that your best option for a “home job” is to join a work from home opportunity or business. This is not as impossible as you may think it is. Here are a few advantages of having an online business you can run from home. Inexpensive – It is much cheaper to start an online business than a traditional business. Many online businesses start with a single personal computer or laptop and an Internet connection. You don’t need a fancy office or store front. There’s no expense for commuting. Some kinds of advertising are free. There are other types of advertising that are very inexpensive. Time – With an Internet business you can work as much or as little as you want. No one dictates your schedule. You can work in the morning, in the afternoon, or evening, or the middle of the night if that’s what you want to do. Your time can be multiplied exponentially. You write an e-mail and you can send it instantaneously to millions of customers. You can make a blog entry and millions of people can find it. No employees are needed – You won’t have the headaches and expenses of having employees. Many online businesses are simple enough that they can be run by one person with one computer. The Internet is your happy worker, slaving away for you night and day, holidays and weekends. It never complains. It doesn’t get sick. It just keeps doing whatever it is you told it to do. Be your own boss – No one will be telling you what to do or how many hours to work. You get to decide when you want a vacation. If you are sick, you can stay in bed and your business can just hum along for a few days while you recover. Unlimited potential – Your income is truly unlimited. You can market to the entire world. The better you get at Internet marketing, the more money you can make in the same amount of time. You can also start other online businesses and have several running at the same time. There are literally no bounds to the money you could make. So, do you really want to try filling out surveys or assembling products at home to see if they are going to pay you money or do you want to have a work from home opportunity or business and take control of your future and build a better life for yourself? The choice is yours.

Re: Trade Shows - Are They Worth It? Re: Trade Shows - Are They Worth It? - HI, I have used trade shows (not participated) to collect potential clients. For example, the Home & Garden Industry is extremely behind the time in regards to their websites. I attended an Home & Garden Expo in Denver and collected all the companies contact information. I plan on cold calling & mailing information to each business. It also gave me time to research the industry more, talk directly to the owners in many cases, and learn more about what they need. Jeff
