Internet Home Based Business - The Trust Factor and Credibility in the Market

Like the wise man said, "The customer does not buy your product, he buys you". This statement does absolute justice to building trust and credibility for your internet home based business.

If you are able to give the customer what he wants, high quality products and exceptional service, the customer will stay with you forever. This will be the stage of your business from where the word-of-mouth recommendation can bring more business to you than any other marketing strategies which you use. A customer knows what he needs and wants and if you deliver to him what he needs, you will have to understand his needs first.

Customer dislikes:

The list goes on and on and you will need to neutralize the effect of its each and every component in order to build credibility for your internet home based business. Fortunately, the list of what the customer likes is much longer than the above mentioned list. If you are able to identify them, puff, you will see the above list vanish into thin air.

As an internet home based business person, you will need to understand that the customer is always right. If he finds that something is wrong with your product or service, then you haven't managed to give him the personalized solution. Here is where an immediate guarantee of service is required to maintain your good name. There are many ways and methods to build credibility and trust. One of the best ways is by working on the quality of your product or service. The customer trusts or mistrusts what you do more than what you say. Give him what he needs and he will be really glad to buy it from you. A satisfied custom will be likely to pass your name along to friends.

Quality itself decides the sales numbers of your business. There are many methodologies which you could adopt to reach those quality standards. There is no end to this process because you will need to keep the lifting the benchmarks for quality in an ongoing basis. The best advantage of giving quality with your internet home based business product or service is that the pressure on your customer support will be a lot lesser. That is no reason for the customers to get back to you with concerns if you give them quality, except of course for repeat business. A happy customer always brings in more customers.

Re: Who inspired you to start? Re: Who inspired you to start? - Hi Evan, I was inspired by Mr. Bill Gates ever since I was a student learning Computers. But I was motivated for Internet as my Business, when I read his book "The Road Ahead" in 1995. It was in this book that Gates laid out his vision of an interconnected world built around the Internet. Based on the premise that life will be transformed by the convergence of inexpensive computing and inexpensive communications, Gates drew from his experience at the center of the personal computer revolution to give insights on the growth, evolution and impact of technology. I had always looked up to Bill Gates as my idol. When I read this book, it made me more focussed on Microsoft and Internet, The Internet was one of the upcoming things in this time. So I took over to the Internet as my primary business. Regards,
