The health insurance policy that you purchase or get through your work or school can have many benefits to it that are not known until you actually read or discuss the policy with the representative of the company.

Knowing what your health insurance policy states can save you money. Each health policy comes with it specific benefits that are important to know when you need to go to the doctor, hospital or emergency room. It may be obvious to state, but most people probably have not spent enough time reading their policy to be able to know what specific coverages and benefits are included.

Finding the time to actually read the policy can be a challenge as can be getting a policy that is right for you and your budget. Setting aside a couple of hours on the weekend could be a challenge especially if you have children who are active and on the go. A better solution might be to devote fifteen minutes over the course of a week perhaps at your lunch hour or even after the children have gone to bed.

Since the policy usually has quite small print, it would be best to make sure that you are well rested when reading it. Reading the fine print and perhaps taking notes on it is a good idea since after one reading you may remember some of the inclusions, but forget some of the exclusions. Making a note card with bullet points to keep in your wallet can help when it comes time to actually know which services are covered and which are not when you are at the doctor. Also make sure to include the phone number of the claims officer for reference.

Choosing a health insurance policy can be a challenge but not an insurmountable one. A good idea is to check into private policies, state organized policies and university offerings. If your job offers a health plan, check that out. One of the strategies that I have found effective is to enroll at a university for a class or a degree. When you do that you are getting an education while paying a nominal fee for the health insurance. Albeit the coverage is not as comprehensive as a private policy, the premiums are also not cliff hanger ones! These policies are usually good for one year, going from August to the following August from when you enroll in them.

Especially since you can obtain a grant when used in combination with FHLB advance. The grant can be used for anything you want for your business (down payment to a seller or franchise fees, working capital...etc.) This puts the borrower in a pretty good position. Re: How to be green? - Hi Evan It’s a great topic especially when it comes to going green and saving our planet. We all have a role to play and we are happy about the fact that we are into it. We have recently made our workplace greener and in the process the following changes have been implemented – 1. We provide paper invoices only if customers ask for them. Otherwise, all our invoicing is done electronically (a PDF via e-mail). 2. We have replaced the Paper Cups at our Cafeteria with Mugs for not only our in-house requirements but also for our clients. 3. We have also made it a Company policy to use only eco-friendly electronic appliances and that includes bulbs, air conditioners. 4. We are in the process of putting it into the Policy that the Employees will have to take to other transportation media – other than their personal vehicles – on at least a day per week to office.
