Dealing with the fear of Failure as an Entrepreneur.

Dealing with the fear of Failure as an Entrepreneur.
Free Download - What were my concerns with Internet Marketing as my profession? By Samantha Cook

It is well known in the circles of the entrepreneurial that the fear of failure is one that keeps us up at night.  We are worried about it because the odds are against us since 95% of businesses fail in the first 5 years and in Internet marketing that number is even more depressing.  We hear that voice saying: "What if I can't make it?", "What if I go bankrupt?", "How am I going to care for my family?"  Most of this is just in our head.  Working in a vacuum does not help the scenario and self-defeating thoughts can become overwhelming.

There are ways of handling this burden:
- Write down everything that you are accomplishing during your day. In the beginning of your start-up write down everything that you were able to accomplish (it will surprise you).  As you grow into your role, write down the positive accomplishments.  Then when the voices arrive, you are able to pull out your list and squelch those voices and move forward with your goals.
- Exercise.  Before or even when those voices make there way into your mind, exercise.  This will release endorphins, help your concentration, and get frustration out of your body.  Do/find something that you enjoy (emphasis on enjoy) and do it for a minimum of 30 minutes per day.
- Meditate.  Most successful entrepreneurs mediate during the day.  The time is set aside to mediate over their goals and dreams.  Make this a habit and you will find an inner peace to help contend with any fear of failure.
