People are flocking to the internet in the millions, all hoping to discover a way to make money online. Some are just looking for additional supplement income while others treat it more seriously and work it like a full time business. So is making money online really possible for anyone and what are the factors involved.

Let's first take a look at some facts:

95% of all internet marketers FAIL - if you are new to internet marketing this may not be the best news for you, BUT the good news is that you can always be the 5% that succeed. To do that though, you'll first need to know 2 things, one, why the 95% fail and two, what the other 5% do to succeed.

Now then what does it then take to be in the top 5% of internet marketers?

• (1) Education -

If you have read my other articles, I know that I may have already mentioned this before but this is an essential aspect of running a business online. Going ahead and building your business online without getting proper education is like trying to performing surgery on yourself - you know you'll get hurt.

It's not that you cannot start till you get a full degree on internet marketing. Go ahead and start your marketing but always invest time and money on learning as much as you can as you move along with your endeavour.

• (2) Mindset -

This is one of the MOST important aspects for a successful online marketer. Success will come from 5% hard work and 95% mindset! You need to always be in check of your thoughts and emotions when running your business.

When you have a good mindset to keep you positive and always driving towards your goal, you'll realise that you can overcome any issues or problems that stand in your way and eventually obtain the success that you desire.

Be positive and persevere when faced with challenges. Never start blaming others for a problem or lack of success. Take ownership of your own actions and results and understand that your success depends only on yourself.

• (3) Great system, service or product -

If you are going to be successful, you are going to need a product or service that people will actually want. Your product should provide real value that will last a lifetime. Ignore all those fads that will only last a short while.

When you have a product that you yourself have faith in, it will also be a much easier task to market the product to others. Many will be able to feel the truth and sincerity in your actions and voice. When you know that the product you found can build that kind of enthusiasm within you, you know it will also do the same for others.

Before you make any decisions on a product, always remember to do your due diligence on it and research and learn as much as you can before committing to it.

• (4) Having a target market -

This is in line with having a great system, service or product. If you have a large market looking for exactly what you are providing, then you have a very viable business venture.

Although having a large market might be good, a tip that I have is to always precisely target your market otherwise you will waste a lot of time and money on broadly trying to push your product to a large circle of individuals that realistically, may not be interested in your product at all.

By properly targeting a niche in your large target market, you'll be able to link up with those that are seriously looking for the solution that you are providing which means more conversions on your part.

Ok then, these are the top four main aspects that anyone looking to start a career online should consider. Constantly educate yourself on all areas of your business, build a mindset for success, make sure that you have a good system/product and finally ensure that you have a target market for your product. So if are still wondering - is making money online possible - my answer is a definite YES, BUT only if you are able to satisfy the above four conditions.

Re: Who to profile next? - Hi Evan, Because I'm an online marketer, My recommendations will be online marketers. I think Rosalind Gardner can be the best for adding to you site. She is making more than 1.000.000$ a year and is one of the best affiliates in the world and very successful woman. Also her picute is beautiful too. (her picture looks like the same Kim Castle which is one every page of the site). Also M. FIlsaeme and R. Brunson can be my recommendations. They are making 4.500.000$ in sales a year as a marketer.
Re: Can you really get google ads for free? - To be honest, it is one of the best (probably best) ebook on the Internet about online marketing. But it is for advanced marketers. Yeah, like all sales letters it is confusing.
Re: Are You Complying with the FTC? - A lot online marketers will run to Cyprus and other Islands to do their businesses. FTC rule or no rule the Internet is a global thing and still a wild wild west. Buyers should be careful and do due diligent before buying anything online
