The Internet is a huge apparatus with thousands of Home Based Business Opportunities just waiting to be discovered and
I call it the Internet Money Tree. This is very much like the California
Gold Rush of the nineteenth century. Everyone was welcome to come in and take
their shot at finding gold or striking it rich. The same applies to home
businesses opportunities on the Internet in 2009 and beyond.
You will find a growing number of legitimate home business opportunities on
the Internet during the current Recession. More good news is that the Internet money tree with its thousands of opportunities
to start a home business on the Internet is growing at a very fast pace. That
is because a home business on the Internet is a Recession proof business. You can
generate income in bad or good times.
Everyday there are more people with computers checking out the opportunities
on the Internet. this will continue, so look for more home business opportunities
out there. You will need a late model computer, a reliable Internet connection and a
basic knowledge of computers and the Internet in order to find the
opportunities.
Today you can find so many different ways to make money on the Internet, all
of which you can execute entirely from your computer. With a wireless laptop, the
world is your office and you can operate from anywhere in the world.
Thanks to the Internet it is possible for almost anyone to start one of many
home business opportunities online. You can do it and be successful
only when you do the research, draft a plan, stick to the plan and then take
action.
When searching for business opportunities, use Google search engine to find
home business opportunities. It is important to become like a detective and
check out everything you can about an opportunity. A network marketing company
will offer an Internet home business opportunity that provide a website,
training sessions and other needed resources to promote their product or
service.
Be sure the opportunity you accept is related to something you love to do
and has a product or service you have knowledge of and with one you feel comfortable.
Finally, make no mistake about it, all of the hard work and dedication you
put into your Internet home based
business will yield rewards beyond your dreams; independence and financial
freedom as well as a business that can be passed on to your heirs.

- this is a fascinating book about the history of Business theory, and I'd recommend it to anybody.
2. The Big Book of Small Business: You Don't Have to Run Your Business by the Seat of Your Pants, by Tom Gegax. Ditto.
3. PADI: The Business of Diving Book
Okay, so this book won't be of use to anyone who doesn't want to start a scuba store, but I did, and this book was of course invaluable to me in reaching that goal.
Re: Trade Shows - Are They Worth It?
- HI,
I have used trade shows (not participated) to collect potential clients. For example, the Home & Garden Industry is extremely behind the time in regards to their websites. I attended an Home & Garden Expo in Denver and collected all the companies contact information. I plan on cold calling & mailing information to each business.
It also gave me time to research the industry more, talk directly to the owners in many cases, and learn more about what they need.
