Information on Starting a Home Based Business on the Internet

Did someone recommend that you seriously think about starting a home based business on the Internet? Thank that person very much and take action on the idea. If you are still employed, don’t quit, you can have an Internet business and keep your job.

News and information you can use:

· Recent statistics according to informed and credible sources one percent of people are wealthy, not rich, but Wealthy. They don’t work for money they let money work for them. Only four percent have enough money to retire

· Not far behind are three percent still working and can’t afford to quit

· A huge sixty-three percent depend on Social Security retirement.

Since the Recession, more people with computers who are unemployed are looking for home business opportunities on the Internet. They have discovered that a work from home business is the only viable option for them in this economic Recession.

Before continuing, I want to make it very clear that a home business is a “get rich slow business”. Don’t expect to get rich or make money overnight, in a week or even months. It could take 2 to 3 years to realize any significant profit. These are things you need to know before diving into a business venture. Considering the reward awaiting you when you attain success, all of the hard work, dedication, focus and self-discipline you put into your business will be worth it.

How will you survive for 2 or 3 years without a job?

Of course you know your job is your backup or safety net. Don’t rush into leaving your safety net. First do the research, put your plan together and then think about starting part time and building your business opportunity. If you do that, when and if you are laid off, you have a business in progress. Even if you are not laid off, you will eventually quit your job when you begin generating residual income from your business.

The fact that you have a business on the Internet qualifies you for the same tax benefits as any other legitimate business. Yes, you are a legitimate business on the Internet and the IRS recognizes and allows tax breaks for you.

You can deduct mortgage or rental monthly payments, cost of your new computer and many other benefits that put money in your pocket

Get your creative juices flowing and I am sure you can come up with other ideas to generate income while building your business.

What are some other advantages of starting a home business on the Internet?

· One of the best and most important is that startup costs are low on expenses like rent and office equipment.

· You save on travel expenses, you can dress in pajamas for work and you can set your own work schedule.

· You are the boss and you don’t have to continue working to make someone else rich.

· You make all decisions affecting your business because you are the CEO and the buck stops with you.

After reading this article you should have sufficient information on how to go about starting a home based business. Today you have the most powerful tool in the world in your hands; a computer with a high-speed Internet connection and a working knowledge of personal computers and the Internet. It is to your advantage to put it to work for you.

Re: Who inspired you to start? Re: Who inspired you to start? - Hi Evan, I was inspired by Mr. Bill Gates ever since I was a student learning Computers. But I was motivated for Internet as my Business, when I read his book "The Road Ahead" in 1995. It was in this book that Gates laid out his vision of an interconnected world built around the Internet. Based on the premise that life will be transformed by the convergence of inexpensive computing and inexpensive communications, Gates drew from his experience at the center of the personal computer revolution to give insights on the growth, evolution and impact of technology. I had always looked up to Bill Gates as my idol. When I read this book, it made me more focussed on Microsoft and Internet, The Internet was one of the upcoming things in this time. So I took over to the Internet as my primary business. Regards,

Business Innovation Business Innovation - Hi Simon If you can finish off the Business Plan and think about your strategic direction or how you are going to use your product to convince people it's a great idea, it will set the foundation for your programming project. You see, when you are looking for funding you will need a Business Plan and Strategic Plan that will convince companies to invest into your new idea. Has anyone achieved this idea before using another industry besides health and fitness that you know of? You should also design some mockups as a "preview" for your programming project. This will also help reduce your programming costs as everyone will know exactly what you want if you have detailed mockups already completed including any functionality you require. Starting mockups for websites and software applications on paper is the best way if you're not a guru in graphic editing software.
